Chapter 016

Chat Noir/Adrien's POV

"Agh. Why do we need to stay here? Can't we just go home already. I'm exhausted."

Plagg instantly complained in front of me. We were still at Marinette's Balcony, where Marinette left me, so I can detransform and feed my kwami.

"Will you do it for a one box of camembert?" I offered him.

Plagg's eyes twinkled just the mere mention of his most precious and favorite cheese.

"Okay, for the sake of my beloved cheese." He immediately accepted my offer. I know, he would do it for the sake of his stinky cheese.

He ate a handful of cheese. I immediately transform as Chat Noir.

After, that I opened the trapdoor that leads to the inside of Marinette's room.

It made a creaking noise at first and when I let go of it once I was inside.

I saw Marinette facing her back at me, standing in the middle of the room while unconsciously biting her fingers.

But before I could even take a step towards her, she immediately ran towards me and enveloped me with her warm embrace.

I was taken a back with her sudden clingy side. I don't know what gotten into her to be like this but I love this side of her.

"Hm," I hummed. "You're quite the clingy type today, Princess." I told her while hugging her back.

I felt she shook her head. "Of course not." She disagreed.

I don't know if I should laugh at her response because what she said is very different from what she is actually doing right now. But I chose to not laugh because she might break from the hug.

"Well, if you say so." I simply said. "But tell me, why are you acting like a clingy girlfriend all of a sudden?" I asked her once more. She might tell me this time.

I immediately got distracted because something smells nice.

Strawberries. She smells like sweet strawberries. Her scent is really sweet that I almost had the urge to take a bite of her neck. But I stopped myself, that's an inappropriate thing to do.

"You smell like strawberries, my princess." I told her.

She didn't reply but I know that her face is already the same color of how she smells.

We were at that same position for a while before I decide to take her already into her bed. I'm sure she's already tired from all the things that happened today.

I slid my hands from her waist down to her thighs to lift her up. I heard how she yelp in surprise from my sudden move.

Her reflexes is so fast that she immediately wrap her legs in my waist. My hands is under her butt to support her weight so she won't fall.

I chuckled because of our current position is inappropriate but I had no choice.

"Don't worry, Princess. I won't do something inappropriate to you, of course without your consent." I said, telling her the truth.

"You're already sleepy, right?" I asked her that she immediately responded with a nod. " Okay. Let's go to bed."

I walked to her bed while still carrying her like a koala.

After, I laid her in her bed, she also let go of her arms wrapped around my neck. But she also hugged my arm after.

I burst into laughing. I can't take it anymore this side of her is really cute. It makes me fall for her even deeper.
