"I'll read next James," Lily lightly grabbed the book from him, their fingers brushing against one another.

'The Journey'

'The 1st of September arrived faster than she had expected. She had spent the last month buried in a mountain of textbooks and she devoured them as if she were starved.

Cassiopeia craved knowledge about this new world, her world, and she refused to appear unintelligent and sub-par to her peers and teachers. She had to prove herself to them all. Prove that she was better than them. Every good leader needed followers and that was the only way she was going to destroy Dumbledore. She needed to overtake him. '

People sent Cassiopeia wary glances but she was unbothered, a peaceful smile on her face, and a manic gleam in her eyes.

'She had read a lot more about the man over the past few weeks, his defeat of Grindelwald, his standing in the wizarding world. It seemed there wasn't one book on modern historic events that did not mention him and usually placed him in a golden light.

But history was always written by the victors and Cassiopeia refused to let herself be swayed by biased views. She had decided that she would keep her mind open towards any and all magic she read about.'

Those who leaned towards the darker side of magic nodded their head approvingly.

'The weeks had disappeared quickly and so she had packed her trunk full of her new clothes and books and had placed a set of the uniform into her bottomless bag . She would have to change into her uniform when she got there as there was no way she could be walking about muggle London in robes.'

Once again, the wizards and witches admired Cassiopeia's intelligence.

'She packed her old battered diary she had stolen from Camden Market. And finally, she shrunk her mother's trunk and placed it in the pocket of her trousers.'

"You brought it with you?" Lily asked curiously.

"It helped me through every year at Hogwarts," Cassiopeia replied, a soft smile set on her face.

Lily grinned and continued reading.

'So with her heart beating in excitement, feeling happier than she ever had, Cassiopeia made her way to Kings Cross Station.

To begin the journey toward Hogwarts, to her new life.'

There were hoots and hollers all across the hall, many excited to hear about Cassiopeia's time at Hogwarts, and happy that she no longer had to be at the orphanage.

,The Hogwarts express was truly a magnificent sight, the red steam engine gleamed in the afternoon sun and Cassiopeia struggled to mask her excitement. If it weren't for the crowd of screeching children and all the annoying blubbering parents she might have even felt awed. But she quickly grew tired of the racket around her and dragged her trunk onto the train.

She pushed her way through the crowds until she found an empty compartment at the end of the train. Nodding to herself she dropped the trunk on the ground before pulling out her wand vine wood and phoenix feather (curious very curious the voice of Ollivander echoed in her head)'

Many people still had their minds on Ollivander's words.

'concentrating on the feeling of her magic she flicked her wand in the direction of her trunk

"Wingardium Leviosa"

She cast clearly and didn't release her magic until  the trunk lifted into the air, tilting about until she managed to clumsily land it in the overhead compartment.'
