Sirius read out the title of the next chapter,
'Samhain Night'
Darker affiliated wixen raised their eyes in both shock and excitement. Though many lighter wixen were wary but intrigued as well.
Cassiopeia had finally felt like she truly belonged at Hogwarts.
Perseus and the rest of her court, Blaise, Theo, and Daphne were all some of the greatest people she had ever met. Blaise was a complete gossip and often participated in pranks with the Weasley twins but no one else besides the court knew of his midnight fun.
Despite the lighthearted nature of Blaise, he was a true Slytherin.
"Aww, Cassie Bear, I'm so glad that I have your approval. I've never felt so honored." Blaise pretended to wipe tears from his eyes.
The Marauders share looks, they needed to have a chat with Blaise.
Cassiopeia glared at Blaise momentarily before she flared her nostrils slightly and her green eyes flashed brightly. Not a second later Blaise sprouted antlers and a duck bill.
He began sobbing dramatically, complaining about how his beautiful face was ruined by the heartless, Slytherin queen.
Cassiopeia looked around innocently, "Blaise, I have no idea what you're talking about. I didn't pull out my wand or say anything, why are you blaming me? If you want to blame anybody, blame Theo, look at him."
The hall collectively looked at Theo who seemed slightly dazed with his wand in his hand. Blaise tackled him to the ground and demanded that he reverse the hexes. Nobody but Perseus, Lily, and the Marauders saw Cassiopeia's sly smirk.
"What did you do, darling?" Perseus questioned, whispering lowly in her ear.
Cassiopeia once again adopted an innocent expression, "My love, I really do have no idea what you're talking about."
Professor McGonagall quickly silenced the hall by a clearing of her throat, "I think we would all like to hear the rest of the chapter, if you would please resume reading Mr. Black?"
Sirius quickly began reading again.
Blaise could easily learn the secrets of everyone in the room and was probably the best manipulator Cassie had ever met, beside herself of course.
Theo was the quietest of the group but that was all apart of his charm. He was rather attractive for an eleven-year-old, and many of the upperclassmen had trouble denying a poor, innocent little first year.
But Theodore Nott was anything but innocent. He practically had the entire Hufflepuff house wrapped around his finger and most of the professors found him rather adorable as well. But despite his outward nature, Theo was somewhat cruel at heart.
He had a sharp tongue and wasn't afraid to sabotage another to better himself, but he was fiercely loyal. The whole court was rather intelligent, but Theo had to be something of a genius.
The entire hall turned to the boy described and found him sleeping, his head on Pansy's lap and his legs draped elegantly (something that he surely learnt from Cassie and Draco) across Blaise's lap. Many were unnerved by the description of Theo and how different he appeared outwardly, but they simply shrugged and turned back to Sirius to hear more.
Daphne was something else entirely.
Cassiopeia had never really had any girl friends, scratch that any friends, but having a close relationship with another girl was something Cassiopeia had never expected.
