KELLY POV

After Zack and I's appointment with Dr. Ashton, I went downstairs to the lobby. I kept thinking about Zack the whole time. He is not the same person. I can understand the exhaustion he feels from working so much. Neither he nor I have a choice in that matter. What I don't understand is how stressed and anxious he is getting from us trying to have a baby. I can tell he is still upset from the miscarriage. It's like he has been consumed with getting me pregnant ever since then.

He is now almost unrecognizable. His hair has turned dark brown, his face is changing, and he is not eating as much as he should be. I can feel his stress is putting a strain on our marriage. I love him. I feel like I'm losing my husband.

I walked up to the front desk, where Greg, one of the receptionists and a good friend of mine, is working on the computer. "Hey, Greg" I say. "Hey Kel. How are things?" He asks. "Could be better, but I'm not complaining" I reply. "Good answer" he says. "Yeah, whatever. I just came down here to ask for my mail." In response, Greg opened one of the desk drawers and received my mail. As always, he scanned through all the envelopes, reading all the addresses, names, etc. on the unopened envelopes. "Seems legit" he says as he hands them all over to me. "Who sent this time?" I ask. "Today, you received a subscription notice from O Magazine, ads from Sushi World and Handy Andy Hardware..." "So the usual" I say, cutting him off. "Actually, there is also something in there from Los Angeles. Says addressed from Bayside High School" Greg says. I thank him and head to my office to read the mail, specifically the one from Bayside.

Once I get there, I sit down and comb through all the letters until I find a clear white envelope with "Bayside High School" written in light green ink across the middle. I opened it and found a nearly folded piece of paper inside. I unfolded it and began to read it.

"Dear Zack and Kelly Morris,

You are officially invited to Bayside High School's Class of '93 Reunion. The event will be held at the Bayside High School campus in Los Angeles, California on April 13-19, 2015. We would be honored to have you attend this blast from the past event.

Sincerely,

Mr. Richard Belding and staff of the Bayside High School Reunion Committee"

Oh my, I remembered my days at Bayside High. It is where Zack and I fell in love. It was also the most amazing four years I ever had with Zack and all our friends. That's when I suddenly remembered, neither Zack nor I have had any sort of contact with our friends since the wedding.

Zack was always the happiest when he's with his Bayside pals. Maybe if I can get Zack to come with me to the Reunion, it can save our marriage. Maybe remembering the Zack I fell in love with can help him improve his life and ultimately make our lives together better than it has been before.

I smiled at the thought of going to the reunion. I got up and headed back to the suite, where I was met with a clearly stressed out Zack drinking a cup of coffee.

"Hey, Zack" I said. "Hi, Kelly. What'cha got there?" he replied.

"We got a invite to our high school reunion. It takes place next week in LA. I was thinking we could take a vacation back home to attend our reunion."

Zack gave me a look that I couldn't read. I didn't know what he was thinking. Was he happy about the reunion or not so much. He put his cup down on the island of our kitchen and walked over to me. "Kelly, I'm not so sure. I mean, taking about a week off in LA just to attend a high school reunion. That's a big thing-"

"But it's not just some high school reunion. It's our high school reunion. It's the place we really met and fell in love. Plus, we get to see all our old friends. I mean, besides our wedding, when was the last time we saw Slater? Or Lisa? Or Jessie? Or even Screech?"

Zack looked down at his shoes, knowing exactly what the answer was. "The fact of the matter is we haven't seen any of our friends since the wedding. We all promised we be friends forever and I plan we keep that promise."

"But..."

"No buts, Zack. It's only a week and Bayside is only about a four hour drive from here. C'mon. Just say you'll go, for me?"

I gave him the little pleading puppy dog face I know he can't resist and, of course, he nodded and said "OK, Kelly. We'll go"

I was really happy. I was so happy and leaped into his arms and gave him the biggest hug I could ever give anyone. "Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. I promise you won't regret this"

And I was going to make sure he didn't. I was getting my Zack Attack back even if it kills me.
