A/N: okay im so sorry for not updating im just going throught shit at the moment

Here I am, standing with the beloved presence of oxygen seeping through my lungs. Slowly in, slowly out. The loneliness after the loss of Tony Stark crept in every second when standing, scowling, staring at the lifeless heart of iron that lay below me. The memorial: quiet, shameful, hurt. People they brought back, still flourished with life.

Tony was an old friend, he found me when I was without a home. We assembled the avengers, i was one. Was. until i was at battle with a godly being, they tore half the flesh of my leg. Left for dead. Left for dead. Left. for. Dead...

Physical therapy helped, but I had and still do experience phantom limb. Phantom limb is awful, its when you have lost a limb, for me partially, but still think it's there and feel excruciating pain in the spot you lost your limb. That's why i cant join the avengers anymore.

The only good thing I gained from this funeral was that nat was brought back from the dead, she's still alive. When I joined the avengers at first she was the person i warmed up to. The person I fell for. But soon after I obviously couldn't see her again as I was confined to a small apartment down in New York near the coffee shop. The coffee shop was on the other side of New York away from the tower. I never got to go there much until I moved out of the tower.

But now I think it's time to reconnect with Nat, I need to find her. I was all better now after all. The cabin, so inside I went. I found her straight away, arguing with Clint on how he shouldn't have brought her back but Tony instead. When clint saw me his face went pale, he knew me but he thought I was dead. No one knew Tony fixed me up just like coulson. And yes i have met Coulson's team, especially Jemma, she's the sweetest, then Daisy we were very close and she reminded me of Nat, always holding a scowl whenever a man walked by. Just like nat.

Nat had turned her head to my line of view, there she was. She was startled of course, thinking I was dead all this time obviously because her face went as pale as a ghost. And then suddenly she was walking my way, she softly held my face in her hands. I could see her fighting back and blinking away tears. I embraced her, she willingly obliged. I kissed the top of her head and whispered quiet "im here" s in her ear. By the minute I could feel wet patches forming on my t-shirt, I really did miss her. By now everyone had left to give us privacy. We stood there for around five minutes just enjoying every moment this reunion had provided us.
