I was awoken with a pound on my door.
I opened the door and found Elizabeth; Aware and Sober.

She came into my room and gave me the hardest glare.

"What happened last night?" She asked.

I instantly knew she's not aware that we had sex. Maybe she sensed it but she's not that sure.

"What did you mean?" I asked, trying to sound normal.

She studied me with an icy glare, then asked again "What happened last night"

I must lie.
Saying the truth means death.

"You got drunk and slept off" I said.

"Did you touch me?"

When we had sex yesterday, I noticed that she wasn't a virgin as I thought.

If she isn't a virgin, why then is she claiming to be chaste.

"I helped you to the bed" I said.

She frowned "That's not what I meant and you know that. I'm asking if in anyway...you...uhm"

"If I slept with you? If that's what you meant then the answer is No. You know I wouldn't do that." I said with a little hurt in my face.

No one would've ever believed that I was lying. Elizabeth studied me for a while then said. "I know is weird to say this but I noticed that there was orgasm in my bed, this morning. And I was naked. And I know is even weirder to say that I'm having some kind 9f throbbing between my leg. Please James, say the truth"  The way she said it made me want to confess that I did it. That I f**ked her so hard last night that she screamed my name loudly.

Rather, I shook my head and said "Beth, you know I won't do such a thing. But let me be honest with you; Last night you got yourself so drunk and you started acting insane." I paused  "I know is weird to say this but I must say it, you got drunk and you did weird things to yourself. You touched your ...."

Her face turned pale. She looked at me apologetically then said "I'm sorry you have to see me do that to myself. I guess I was so drunk. I fucked up" She sobbed.

I hugged her and let her cry in my chest. Then in my mind, I applauded myself.

The lie was so smooth and she believed it.

Theo's family house in Ohio was directly opposite Jack's own.

No wonder he caught me easily that night.

The house was the biggest I've seen.
A servant opened the gate as Theo drove in.
"There were servants all around the house, it made me remember the palace in Nollywood movies where maid and guards were everywhere."

"Nice house" I said to Theo as he drove into the garage. He said nothing and turned off the ignition.

I was about coming down when he said I should wait.

I sat back and seized my breath.

He breathed heavily before he said,
"If you see my Mum. Whatever she said to you, pretend not to here. She's worse than you think. And always remember that what you're about doing will either cost you your life or grant your heart desires. I won't tolerate any falls.
I won't tolerate even the slightest fault from you. Try anything stupid and you die in a second" he waved his gun to me, then he opened the car door and came down. I followed him.
