"Have you seen Adaeze?" I asked James after we end our embrace.

He nodded. "She's strikingly beautiful." James smiled.

"Of course she is" I said with irritation.

James noticed my mood "Are you still angry that I had s*x with her?" He asked.

"To be honest, I'm still angry. But I'm even angrier because you hid it from me and if not that I found your diary. I wouldn't have ever known." I said, exasperated.

James stared at his feet. Then he mumbled, "I'm sorry!"

"Is easy to say sorry but is not easier for the heart to heal. Is more painful when you're hurt by the people you love most. We are brothers, We are twins, we are bloods. We are not supposed to hide anything from each other!"

Again, he said; "I'm sorry."

"Is not about being sorry. I want us to make a vow never to hide anything from each other."

'And we must also swear never to hurt each other physically." James added.

I know why he said that.
I'm known to be quick with my fist and James is my forever victim. Though he never fight me back.

No matter what i did to him, never for one day have he raised his hands to retaliate a punch.

Though he always revenge in one way or the other.
Like, sleeping with my girlfriend.

From the field, we heard the sound of a Trumpet.

'The competition has started. Let's be quick.

Hurriedly, we made our vows. James added that we should defend ourselves even in death. That, we vowed.

Before I left. James said "Remember we are not supposed to hide anything from each other, now tell me, Who did this to you?"

The swell on my head, the faint scar on my face, the bruise on my neck.

"His name is Theo, he's my roommate" I said.

His eyes widened.
"Can you take me to him?"

*Never!!!!!* I wanted to scream.

"What did you intend to do, fight him?"

James shook his head "I want to give him a warning."

I almost laughed. He thought Theo was like those effeminate British boys who spoke through nose and walked like kids on diapers.

"Thanks, but I can't take you to him" I said.

"We vowed___"

"Please, James!"

He bit at his lips and nodded. "Ok"

We parted ways. I walked back to my team and met Theo glowering at me.

"Where have you been?"

"Where is Tonia?" I retorted.

Just then Tonia walked over. Her eyes were red from tears.

"Oh my Angel. I owe you lot of explanation. I know that" I said as I pressed her against me, and kissed her under the fiery red eyes of her fiery brother.
