THE RIPPER

CHAPTER 25

Lupa charged right at them, but Eric met her charge tackling her and digging his claws into her side which caused her to let out a scream of pain before kneeing Eric and attempting to swipe at him.

*bang*bang* Valarie began firing at Lupa causing her to stop her actions and raise her claws to shield herself from the bullets causing sparks to fly as the bullets came in contact with her claws, pissed she began to run at Valarie.

Eric jumped Lupa from behind and stabbed her continuously while Valarie continued firing at Lupa till she run out. At this moment Lupa finally grabbed Eric from behind and flipped him causing his back to smash into the floor.

Lupa followed with a stomp but Eric rolled away avoiding the foot which caused web like cracks on the floor. Valarie who had now run out off bullets charged Lupa with her batons at hand, she started off with a wide swing at Lupas head but she took a few steps back before retaliating with her claws managing to slash a baton in half but failed to harm Valarie.

Valarie made her way behind Lupa and smashed her remaining baton in the back of Lupas head as hard as she could. The force sent Lupa to the floor face first, before Valarie could continue, she was swept of her feet creating a thud as the back of her head came in contact with the floor.

Lupa then pounced on her jamming her claws into her side, aaaah! causing Valarie to scream out in pain. Eric tackled her through another wall causing the both o groan in pain as they rolled on the ground, this lasted for but a moment as they both performed a kick up at the same time, getting back on their feet and staring themselves in the eye.

Valarie broke their stare down as she rushed in still mad about Lupa jamming her claws. Lupa engaged into hand-to-hand combat with both of them, her enhanced Demi-human physiology alongside her training enabling her to trade blows with both of them.

At the same time Agent Michaels had taken Elise along with Rose to escape the facility.

Agent Michaels: you okay?

Elise: yeah but what about them she turned to look back at the Demi-Humans who were trying their best to put up a fight but were unable to escape the fate of being sniped one by one. we cant just leave them like that can we?

Agent Michaels: were not, before we were captured, I made contact with the E.V.O and they will be here in about an hour.

Elise: she looked back at the Demi-Humans who kept dropping by the second, I dont think they are last an hour.

Agent Michaels realized Elise was right, he began to look around and spotted something.

Agent Michaels: You and Rose stay hidden, no matter what dont come out Leaving those words Agent Michaels was gone.

The Demi-Humans were beginning to lose hope, there were less than half the original number of people they started off with and they wanted nothing more to give up but they were now flanked from behind and had no choice but to continue this hopeless battle.

*HOONNK* TING* A truck pulled right in front of the Demi-Humans shielding them from the snipers. The Demi-Humans looked to the drivers door which opened to reveal Agent Michaels with an AK in hand.

Agent Michaels: get down!

The Demi-Humans obeyed his orders without any hesitation, as Agent Michaels opened fire ventilating all the soldiers still standing until he run out. As he did the remaining soldiers charged at hm but he jumped in their midst and delivered a hit to ones gut before grabbing him and flipping him into another.

The last two soldiers tried to rush him from behind but he ducked avoiding their attacks and stealing a knife which he proceeded to use to slit their throats.

Random Demi-Human: Thank you he said as he got to his feet followed by the others.

Agent Michaels: he gave them a once over and could clearly see they were exhausted, dont mention it, trust me when I say we are leaving here alive.

On the other side at the sniper post;

The professor: Do you have a shot?

Sniper: no sir, the truck is in the way

The professor made a move to check on the soldiers who were supposed to flank them when he saw something.

Lupa and Eric fell out the building, bounced of the truck before rolling on the ground, their flashy entrance grabbed everyones attention.

Eric managed to make it back to his feet before looking at Lupa before him, but his eyes widened in disbelief as he did. Lupas mask had fallen revealing her face but the before Eric was too familiar as it was none other than his sister.

Eric: Esther?
