So much has happened since Imani 'killed' Kentrell's and Jazlyn's baby. Imani even calls him by his first name instead of dad now, since they don't claim each other. But we'll get into that later.
About a year ago Imani got a letter from a school down in Florida saying that they could help her graduate early plus, help her start nursing school two years before she was even supposed to start. So, Imani took the opportunity and moved all the way there by herself.
Back to Kentrell, after it happened, Jazlyn wanted to take Imani to court and press charges but we all know Kentrell doesn't fuck with the police.
Imani also fell out with most of her family on Kentrell's side because of it. Kayden, Kacey, and Armani of course didn't like her because they all do what Kentrell says. The rest, she'd talk to maybe once a month because she rather stay to herself and have no one in her business.
Oh, she also hasn't talked to Kamrein since the day he called her which was two years ago. But she heard about him and Jodie still being together. Imani didn't care that much because she moved on.
Meanwhile, Kayla had her son and she would come down to Florida when she could and bring her son with her. While Alabama, she and Imani weren't friends for so many reasons the list could go on. Three words Imani would say about her is "fake ass bitch".
Back to Imani though, to be seventeen she thinks that she's been doing good especially to be doing mostly everything by herself like buying Range Rover since Kentrell took the other car back. Plus, her high-rise apartment in Miami Florida. To her, she was doing great financially.
Mentally, whole different thing because that part of her life was just terrible. About three months ago she took a Percocet and now it's like she couldn't stop. They did their job though, which was to make her feel nothing, exactly what she wanted.
Imani felt like everyone who was in her life two years ago was now gone. Even though sometimes being alone didn't bother her that much, it was still some days were she rather not be alone.
The only person that she would talk to daily was her boyfriend Horace. Honestly, their relationship wasn't the best, he had anger problems while she had separation problems. So even when he did cuss her out or do something that she didn't like. She would make herself think it was ok just so that she wouldn't be alone.
Nobody seemed to understand her or that she was crying out for help. Not even Jania who was so worried about finding another relationship to be in, to notice or care what Imani did. In Jania's eyes, Imani was grown.
So, two years since Imani and Kamrein had spoken to each other. Two years since Kentrell and Imani last seen or talked to each other. One year since Imani moved to Florida all alone. And one year since Imani and Horace had been together. 𝐈𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐢 𝐝𝐢𝐝𝐧'𝐭 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐝 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭.
