Eret's Castle

"Ready to go meet up with Dream and George?" I ask SapNap, as I put my socks on. He grabs his phone off the charger and puts it in his pocket. "Yeah I think so." He responds, I look at the time and we leave my room to go outside. "It snowed, A lot." He says, starring out the windows with his arms crossed over his chest. "And someone has been here." He adds on as I'm putting on my shoes, I look up from my shoes. "What do you mean?" I ask, SapNap and I exchange glances and I finish putting my shoes on. "Nobody has been outside except for Dream and George, and there's footprints everywhere, All the same size. It's weird because they are a normal footprint but they are really small." He says walking away from the window and sitting down, I glance out the window in the door. "It's probably footprints from Micheal." I suggest as Wilbur sighs, I shrug my shoulders and We go outside. I glance at the footprints, as we walk over to Dream and George. "You guys wait here I'm going to go talk to Ranboo" I say, leaving before they could respond. I knock on the door and nobody answers, I open the door and tiptoe in closing the door behind me. The heat in their house is insane, almost as warm as a summer day. I take off my shoes and walk towards the living room, checking the kitchen on my way in. I see Micheal sitting on the living room floor playing with blocks, he looks at me and smiles. "Hi buddy, whatcha doing?" I ask him sitting beside him on the floor, he points at his blocks and puts another block on his tower. "Have you been outside today Micheal?" I ask him, handing him another block for his small tower, He looks at me, and the looks back at his blocks. "Have you?" I ask him, hoping to get an answer. He nods and points to his pile of winter stuff. "Ok thank you Micheal, have fun with your tower." I say standing up and walking down the hallway towards the bedrooms. I knock on Tubbo and Ranboo's bedroom door, and hear a muffled 'come in' I open the door and walk in, the difference in temperature caught me by surprise. I glance over to see Tubbo out cold and Ranboo now sitting up a bit. "Hey sorry to bother you, just wanted to let you know Micheal is awake. He was outside for a bit and he's in the living room playing with blocks now." I whisper trying not to wake up Tubbo. He sits up more, staring at me. "Hi Y/n" he mumbles, I smile. "Micheal is awake now, he's playing with some blocks but he was outside making footprints, gave Wilbur a scare.. Wilbur thought someone was in L'manburg." I whisper, he nods and gets out of bed. "Were you guys up late? It's almost 10." I ask as Ranboo walks over, we go out closing the door letting Tubbo sleep. "Micheal was complaining it was cold last night and Tubbo was complaining it was too hot, it took forever to get both of them happy with the temperature." Ranboo says walking into the living room, me following close behind. He sits down on the couch and Michael jumps up and hopped onto the couch, snuggling into Ranboo. "I have to go, I'm going to stop by later I wanna talk to you." I say, Micheal stands up and runs around the couch hugging my legs I bend down and hug him and he goes right back to Ranboo. "Okay sounds good, I'll see you later then." He responds with a smile, I walk to the door and leave making sure to get the door closed all the way. "Took you long enough" George says, standing up off the porch of Tommy's house. "Oh shut it Michael was awake by himself." I scoff as I walk over, linking my hands with SapNaps. George rolls his eyes at us holding hands and Dream smirks grabbing George's hand as we start walking. George bites his top lip, obviously holding in a smile. "OI, KEEP THE COUPLE SHIT TO YOURSELVES MOTHERFUCKERS" Tommy yells from his window, SapNap and I burst out laughing and Dream and George glance at each other both smiling. "Oh I love you George!" Dream says, making sure Tommy hears him "I love you too Dream!" George replies, We hear the door open, "OH FUCK YOU TOO!" Tommy yells from his porch, which only makes SapNap and I laugh even harder, as Dream and George start to laugh along with us.

When we get to the main area of the Dream SMP, I see George gripping Dreams hand tighter. "You two go straight, George and I will go the other way." Dream says when we get near building, I nod and they go their way. We walk down the path, looking in windows as we go, "You know what's weird, that night Sam came and visited with Wilbur for a while, you, Dream and George were in L'manburg for a while. Foolish came to drop off some stuff, and Purpled was hanging out with Niki. Everyone who had been in the walls of L'manburg that night, didn't disappear by morning." I mention, looking into a window. "I never realized that, but you've got a point.." SapNap says, we start walking further down the path both of us unmotivated to keep looking. I look down the path, to be met by Erets huge castle. "SapNap we didn't check in the castle, we didn't the other day either!" I say, realization kicking in. We exchange glances and start running, hoping we will find someone, or even something to give us a lead. Once we get inside we go straight to the throne room, "Okay, you have blocks for us to get out right?" I ask going to one side of the throne, SapNap on the other side. He nods and we both grab onto the little dents on the side, using all our strength to pull the throne up. We both just stand there looking at the hole that was left under the throne. "Do we actually think someone will be down there?" I ask unsure about this, SapNap leans forward a bit. "Maybe..." He mumbles, we exchange glances and we both hop into the hole, leading under the castle. We both look around, hoping to find anyone. "I don't see anyone-" I start, I then hear someone walking around. SapNap and I both run over quietly, hiding behind a pillar holding the castle up. I peak around the pillar looking down a where the main hallway would be, to see Eret and George. "Well because your so greedy you got me stuck in here again. With you." Eret scoffs, leaning on a pillar. George rolls his eyes, and kicks a stone. "I'm not greedy, But as established, I'm supposed to be king. Not you, Me." George says glaring at Eret, they both sit down and SapNap and I exchange glances. "Where is Dream?" I whisper to SapNap, "I'm right here." Dream whispers, startling us. "They've been arguing for I'd say about 15 minutes, I left to go see if I could find a way out and when I got back they were yelling at each other. George got us locked in by trying to grab the golden key that is in a slot under the throne but he accidentally pulled the throne back into place." He whispers, we focus our eyes back to the two boys arguing. "Your not greedy? You don't think your greedy? If you didn't try to take the gold key to the vault, we wouldn't be stuck in here!" Eret says, raising his voice a little. "I didn't know it was for the vault I thought it was for the castle and since IM king I thought I'd need it you idiot!" George argues back, definitely getting defensive. "Don't be calling me an idiot, I didn't get us locked in here for who knows how long! Nobody is going to find us George because of you, we are going to die in here, and nobody is going to find us because nobody else knows you can go under the castle." Eret yells at him, George mumbles something under his breath that I didn't catch. I turn around to see if Dream is still with us and see Callahan and Captain puffy with him. "I found them near here the courtyard would be." Dream whispers, Callahan smiles. "How did you guys get under here?" SapNap asks, all of us still being quiet so Eret and George don't see us. "We were filling holes around the place and fell into this one. Accidentally filled the hole with obsidian, and neither of us could break it." Captain puffy whispers, I open my mouth to speak when I hear a shifting noise come from above us. Dream and I exchange glances and we both run over to the hole for the throne and Dream boosts me up. "Karl?!" I say without realizing it, Karl jumps and notices me.      "Y/n?" A smile forms on his face and he runs over to me and hugs me.  "how are you? What are you doing here?" I ask him when he pulls away from the hug, he smiles. "I'm good, what am I doing here... I- what am I doing here?" Karl mumbles to himself, suddenly I remember the time travelling. "Karl your still doing that?" I whisper, knowing Dream is not far away. "I- yeah.." he says under his breath, I glance at the hole, checking for Dream. "Your not going to have a memory if you keep time travelling Karl.." I say, he nods knowing that I've told him this many times before. "I know. Oh! Oh, I'm here because I was told that there's someone trying to kill people and that they were under the castle and that I need to make sure the throne is in place." Karl says, a proud smile on his face for remembering. "Karl, who told you this?" I ask him hoping it's not who I think it is. "Uh what's his name...." Karl mumbles, he stares at the ground thinking, and I watch as he fiddles with a necklace with a ring. He notices the ring on the necklace and smiles. "Him! His name is... Alex.... No that doesn't sound right. Quackity! That's it, Quackity told me that!" He says showing me the ring on his necklace, I sigh. "I heard your engaged?" I say bringing up a new topic, Karl looks at me like I'm crazy. "I'm sorry what?" He asks, leaning on the throne. My attention goes straight to Karl, his memory isn't the best but he wouldn't forget about being engaged. "To Quackity... engaged?" I say, trying to keep my throats to this topic, Karl raises an eyebrow at me like I'm insane. He laughs a little. "Quackity is just a friend, I'm still looking for someone." Karl forces out through a laugh, he stops. "Why?" He asks, his face definitely concerned. "Quackity said that- you guys were getting married. Isn't that what the ring on your necklace is?" I ask glancing down looking for Dream. "No..." Karl says a little unsure about what I'm talking about, I open my mouth to take when I hear a scream. Karl and I both shocked glance at each other and jump down under the castle, to be greeted by Quackity and Karl smiling at each other. "Thanks for distracting y/n for me Karl, made it nice and easy for me to get SapNap." Quackity says with his fake innocent smile, I go to yell at him when I notice the necklace Karl is wearing, I squint at the ring. My sidekick is engraved around the ring. Quackity laughs gripping onto SapNaps hand tighter. "Ow that fucking hurts!" SapNap scoffs, Quackity shoots a glare at him and he shuts up. "Oh y/n I can see the pure hatred on your face, you might as well just give up now there's no point in-" I grab the necklace and rip it off Karl's neck, throwing it on the ground and stomping on it. Quackity stares at me in pure shock, I glare at Karl who now looks like he's going to cry. Quackity was grabbing onto SapNaps wrist even tighter now, Dream and George were by a wall, and the others were no where to be seen. "I'm not stupid Quackity, you think I wouldn't notice the ring you put on him? A fucking controlling ring? God you really think I'm an idiot don't you." I scoff, Karl is glaring at the grip Quackity has on SapNaps hand. Quackity opens his mouth to argue, "let go of SapNap." Karl says, not taking his eyes off of SapNaps wrist. Quackity glares at Karl, the anger in his eyes showing. "Now." Karl adds, Quackity mumbles something and lets go of SapNaps wrist, SapNap immediately comes running over to us. "Where is the rest of the Dream SMP quackity." I ask him, Quackity stares at me, and I make eye contact with him. He doesn't answer he just stares at a pillar, I slowly walk over to the pillar to be greeted by a button. Quackity smiles and i see Karl and SapNap watching. "Go on, press the button." Quackity says with a smirk, I take a deep breath and I press the button, but before I know it the floor opens, closes and quackity is gone. I press the button against and nothing happens. "He broke the redstone system before I pressed it again." I mumble, frustration taking over. I walk over to the ring I stomped in on and pick it up, looking at every small detail. I shove the ring into my pocket, and walk over to Dream and George. I sit down beside Dream and lean my head on his shoulder. "we should probably go back to L'manburg.." Dream mumbles, laying his head on mine. I Close my eyes thinking about everything that happened just now. "Yeah.. yeah we should.." I mumble, I see Captain puffy, Eret and Callahan walk out from behind a further pillar towards SapNap And Karl. "I fucking hate quackity." I mumble, Dream smiles and we both get up. Dream picks up George, who is out like a light. I go over to Karl and SapNap, who are talking about some game. As soon as SapNap sees me he pulls me over and takes my hand, smiles at me and continues his conversation. I smile and lean my head on his shoulder, listening to their conversation, letting all my other thoughts leave my head.
