The Nether

I roll over, trying to go back to sleep. I sigh and sit up looking at my alarm clock. 2:14AM. I get out of bed and quietly get out of bed, hoping I don't wake SapNap up. I sneak out of my room and close the door lightly behind me, and walking upstairs. I glance around the main floor and I cautiously slid on my shoes. I open the front door and then stop and make sure I don't hear anyone, when the house is silent I go outside and close the door quietly. The moon is bright, lighting up my surroundings as I walk towards L'manburg gates. Eventually I stop and sit down near a stream in the forest, it was relaxing. I close my eyes and let my thoughts sink in, trying to put together the pieces of what happened last night. Quackity used Karl as a distraction for me so that he could get a good grip on SapNap without me there and Karl was definitely under Quackitys control, but it was weird it didn't seem like it until we went under the castle, before I took the ring i could tell Karl was on board with their little plan with SapNap, but when we were near the throne he was acting like normal. When I pressed the button and it must have been set up before hand, pistons with redstone would be what happened and then Quackity must have broken the redstone before I could press the button again. If he didn't have a way out in his tunnel, then when he leaves the tunnel he will be stuck under the castle since once we all left we put the throne back in place, but he probably had a tunnel going to a base or something. I need to talk to Eret, he is the only one I haven't talked to about everyone going missing since Captain puffy and Callahan apparently hadn't noticed anyone gone when they fell. I sigh, the pieces of the puzzle weren't fitting together and it was driving me crazy. I can't stop thinking about it, especially how to get Quackity away from everyone. I don't understand where everyone could be, if Quackity has them I have nowhere to start of where he would have them and if it's not Quackity then I'm out of any kind of idea what so ever. "Y/n stop stressing over everything." A voice interrupts my thoughts, I look over to see SapNap walking over to me. He sits down and picks up a rock, throwing it into the stream. "What are you doing here?" I ask, leaning my head on his shoulder, watching him throw rocks into the stream. "I came to ask you the same question." He responds, handing me a smooth pure white rock. I admire the rock, not sure how to respond. "I heard you leave, when I saw you leaving L'manburg I guess I just decided to follow you." SapNap says throwing a final rock and wrapping his arm around me. "Oh... I couldn't sleep so I was just planning on going for a little walk, but I ended up here." I mumble, putting the rock he gave me in my hoodie pocket. We both sit in a comfortable silence, as I stare at the stars, I try to count them but I lose count on '8'. "SapNap..." I whisper, trying to keep the feeling comfortable, "yeah?" He whispers back, I smile. "I don't think I ever could have imagined this with anyone else other than you." I say, letting my hand find his. He doesn't answer and I look up, to see him smiling. "I love you Y/n" he says as I lean my head back on his shoulder, "I love you too." I whisper, he leans his head on mine and I close my eyes, not letting my thoughts go anywhere but here.
                "Y/n, SapNap? It's almost 11:30 how late did you stay up?" Wilbur says through the door, knocking a few times. I run my eyes and sit up. "We are up, just scrolling through Twitter." I say while trying to hold back a yawn, by now SapNap is also awake. "Oh really? So you must know about-" Wilbur gets interrupted by SapNap. "Yep! Yes we do! We will be up in a bit!" He says, sitting up and showing me his phone.

"What the.." I mumble to myself, SapNap and I both get out of bed and go straight upstairs. "Hi Punz!" I say as I walk past him to the kitchen. "Hi Y/n" he responds, I look over to see why such a short answer since it usually wasn't and I see Wilbur and him whispering about something. I roll my eyes and grab a cup from the dishwasher, pouring a glass of orange juice. SapNap comes over with a cup and I hand him the orange juice. "Soooo.. Twitter?" I ask Punz, going and sitting down beside him at the table, followed by SapNap sitting beside me. "Y/n, I don't think I want you to know what happened-" Wilbur says, I glare at him. "I'm not a child Wilbur, It's not like you even did anything to help us try and find anyone. I deserve to know and I won't stop looking for the answer until I know." I scoff, he shoots me the death stare and I stare right back at him. "And your not my dad so you have no say." I add, leaning back in my chair making my point. "God how many times do I have to tell you, your little dad is not coming back." Wilbur argues, I roll my eyes knowing he's wrong. "Stop fighting." Punz says, I shit my mouth closed, and look at the table. "She doesn't need to know who it is Punz." Wilbur declares, leaning back in his chair. I roll my eyes and get up from the table, bring my cup to the sink. I go towards the front door, stopping an inch in front of Wilbur. "I'm not a fucking child, and your not my dad. He is coming back and you need to stop hiding things from me, I'm 18. Not 12, and you need to understand that" "Quackity did it." Punz says stopping my little hate speech, I stop and stare at him. "I knew it. I fucking knew it." I mumble to myself, I walk over to my chair sit back down. "He came with a few other people that I didn't recognize, one was quite tall and I didn't see the other person. I'm pretty sure most people are still hiding in places, I saw him take HannahRose, BadBoyHalo and Skeppy. He might have taken more people but most people ran and hid when they heard Hannah scream and saw Quackity chasing her." Punz says calmly, completely ignoring Wilbur staring him down. I glance at SapNap, who's attention immediately went to Punz when he mentioned Bad and Skeppy. I nod my head to acknowledge that I'm listening, Wilbur sighs and leans back. "Did you see anyone go into and hiding spots that we could check? Somewhere people might still be? Or maybe what direction Quackity went?" I ask him, he glances at the window and smiles. "Yeah, I do. I saw Antfrost go into a tunnel behind a waterfall. Then I saw Quackity, with Bad, Skeppy and Hannah go through the community house and towards the nether portal, I'm not sure if he went into the nether though." He says, concentrating on all the details he could think of. SapNap and I glance at each other and stand up in sync. "Thank you Punz, We have a spare room in the basement next to mine. You can stay there for a while, its the best thing at the moment." I say, putting on my shoes and coat, SapNap doing the same. We go outside and run over to Tommy's house, knocking on the door frantically. Tommy answers the door. "Tommy can you get Dream and George, tell them it's important." I say the moment the door opens, Tommy turns around. "OI Y/N AND SAPNAP ARE HERE THEY SAY ITS IMPORTANT." He yells through the house, a few seconds later Dream and George come running over with their coat and shoes on, obviously knowing exactly why we are here. "Thanks Tommy!" I say as we start towards L'manburg gates. "Punz was found you obviously know that, and he has information. You two check behind every waterfall, apparently Antfrost went behind a waterfall to hide and SapNap and I are going to check the nether. If we aren't back in L'manburg by 9:00 tonight come look for us." I say, checking my watch displaying the time 12:27AM. "Okay, be careful you two, the nether is one of the most dangerous places here." Dream says I nod and we split SapNap and I running towards the portal on the other side of the community house.
              "Ok, Quackity likes going north. I've noticed that quite often, so I think if we should go anywhere to start we should go north. Keep a close eye for anything out of the ordinary." I say, as we start walking north. Every once and awhile I look over the edge towards the Lava, the only problem being he could anywhere in the lava have water underneath, creating a little trap. Then again, he would need a way out so that would be difficult. "Y/n, look. There's one singular block of obsidian over here, there might be something under it. Do you have a diamond pickaxe?" he points out, I turn around to see him standing beside a block of obsidian in the ground. "I don't... We could dig the block beside it though." I say, walking over and taking my iron pickaxe. I go down a couple blocks and stop. "There's a ladder." I mumble, turning to look at SapNap. I go down a few more blocks and we both jump down, descending down the ladder. we get to the bottom to be greeted by a room made of obsidian with one singular chest in the middle, SapNap and I glance at each other. I start towards the chest, SapNap takes my hand and he walks beside me. I open the chest to find one singular potato. I take out the potato and close the chest, I make eye contact with SapNap and we both stare at the potato. "what the fuck?" we both mumble in sync, I roll my eyes and put the potato back. "one part of me is telling me to go down that hallway, but another part of me is telling me it's not a nice hallway." I say, staring at the hallway on the other side of the room. "I have a feeling if we want answers its the only option." SapNap replies, we glance at each other and start walking down the hallway. At the end of the hallway we find ourselves in long wide room, squares of Netherite. SapNap and I take our pickaxes, breaking into the boxes. I break a block and see HannahRose sitting on the ground sleeping. "SapNap! Open as many boxes as you can there's people in them! I yell across the room, I go over an break a few, some empty some with people in them. By now we have found Hbomb, Hannah, Vikkstar, and Conner and Bad. People started waking up, most of them probably sleeping because of boredom. I walk over to the last box, while SapNap hugs his dad. I break open the box, Skeppy already awake and standing up. He immediately swallows me in a hug, and I hug him back. "Thank god you're okay Y/n, I was worried sick of what Quackity would do after leaving us all down here." Skeppy says, his hands on my shoulders. I smile and we walk over to SapNap and Bad. "I am so happy you we're in L'manburg, and don't you dare try to tell me you should have been with us. You know what Quackity is capable of and what he has done." Bad says, leaning down to SapNap's height. Despite SapNap being quite tall, Bad was taller. "I know, I know.. I just wished I could have at least tried to-" SapNap tries to say, "No, You are as happy as I am that you were in L'manburg away from any danger." Bad cuts him off sternly. SapNap sighs and rolls his eyes. "Yeah, Yeah I am so happy I was away while you two practically got kidnapped by someone I could have stopped.." SapNap says sarcastically, which satisfies Bad. Bad stands up straight and walks over to Skeppy, hugging him tightly. SapNap comes over to me, Not looking at Skeppy and Bad hugging. It then hits me where we are. "Okay Okay, We can keep this cute stuff, but not here!" I say, SapNap takes my hand and we start down the hallway the group of people following us. we go up the ladder, Moving as quickly as possible. I check my watch. 9:34  "Dream and George are going to be in the nether! Its half past 9!" I say to SapNap as I climb off the ladder, I glance around making sure not to see Quackity. "SapNap take everyone to L'manburg, I'm going to keep an eye out for Dream and George. And I'm going to fill in my hole I made." I say, He nods and starts walking from where we came from. I sit down for awhile, making sure Dream and George don't come this way. I fill In the hole and sit back down for a little longer. "Y/n? What a nice surprise." I look up to see Quackity standing a few inches away from me. "Hi.." I mumble, Looking back at my feet and letting myself go back to my thoughts. "Nice block of obsidian." He says with a smile I look up at him and he puts his hand out, I grab his hand and he pulls me up. He breaks the obsidian block and looks at me, I look at the hole and then back at Quackity. "you want to know why I didn't even aim at you when you told me to hit you? I had some plans for you, I couldn't kill you quite yet." He says with a smile. I remember all the holes in the boxes, he will know. "You know, maybe next time.. I'm going to go home. next week maybe." I say, I start walking away. He smiles, and goes down the ladder and as soon as he replaces the obsidian I run as fast as I can, getting to L'manburg as fast as I can.
