Quackity

This chapter has a big, big plot twist. Hints of it anyways, then real plot twist is soon this chapter starts to support the plot twist

We made a few new buildings to fit the new people we found, One for Bad And Skeppy which SapNap insisted on living with them. Another one for HannahRose, Captain Puffy, Foolish and Callahan who all wanted to be together and one big one with just a bunch of beds and goods for anyone who didn't care who they were living with. Everyone else like Dream, George, Sam, Purpled all stayed where they were.
       I watch dream count everyone making tallies on a clipboard, and then counting the tallies. "We have found everyone!" Dream exclaims walking over to where George and I are standing. going to fight Quackity today." He says, I notice more people near us now. SapNap, George, Tommy, Captain Puffy, Karl and Dream all with shields and gear. "What? No Wilbur didn't tell me shit." I scoff walking over to our shed and grabbing my stuff. I roll my eyes and walk back over to the group. "Fucking asshole he is, let's go." I say, we start out of L'manburg going to the nether to invade Quackity's base.    "Okay we checked the whole place, he's not here. Y/n, you hang out here. The rest of us are going to wait at the nether portal, use your watch to call me and we will come back." Dream tells me, patching up the hole we made. "Ok sounds good." I say, George walks over and takes Dream's hand. Dream smiles and they start walking, "bye!" I blurt before they all leave, for a minute nobody answers. George turns around with a smile, "bye Y/n! Stay safe!" He calls back to me, I smile and wave. They leave sight and for a few minutes I continue to hear SapNap and Karl laugh. I sit down a little bit away from the hole, focusing on a stream of lava coming from above going directly into the lava pool beneath the platform I'm on.   After sitting in my thoughts for a while I hear footsteps, I look over to see Quackity walking over. I go to alert dream but i stop, Quackity was walking with a frown on his face and he looked upset. Quackity sees me and stops, I pull myself and walk over. "I said maybe another time... so i thought I'd come visit you could show me.. whatever you were going to show me." I say quietly, he just stares at me. "You already know, just go home Y/n." He says, and walks over to the obsidian block. He breaks it and within seconds he has it replaced. I stand there waiting for a few minutes and then i go to break around the obsidian. I stare at my wrist, the alert dream button sitting there. I sigh and fiddle with my watch, taking it off and throwing it ignoring where it landed. I go down into the hole and onto the ladder, Refilling the hole before I make my way down.   I get to the bottom and go down the tunnel where we found everyone a few days earlier, I pass by all the empty boxes and go down the second hallway to where just today we found a bed and chests. I stop at the closed door and hear the sound of something falling, I knock on the door lightly and back up. The door opens slowly and he stares at me, I smile lightly and he glances at my wrists. He opens the door all the way and invites me in. I see a potion bottle on the floor, I notice his beanie on a bedside table and realize I've never seen him without his beanie. Quackity sighs and sits down at his desk, spinning his chair around and looking at me. "What do you want Y/n." He says, resting his arm on his chair. I stand there trying to think of something, knowing the real reason is not what I should say. I open my mouth to talk but then I stop and think, I sigh and sit down. "Dream and a bunch of others were here with me and you weren't here so they left and told me to alert him from my watch when you got here and said they would be at the portal waiting for an alert, I didn't alert him but I threw my watch before coming down here so if he tracks it he will see me in lava but I'm still alive and he is going to come looking for me and I didn't mean to because you looked sad and I felt bad and-" I force out in one breath, I look over to see Quackity staring at me in shock as he interrupts me. "you, felt bad for me?" He mumbles, still staring at me. I nod staring at the ground, I look up to Quackity forgetting he wasn't wearing his beanie and noticing he has longer hair than I thought. I shrug my shoulder, I didn't actually mean to say any of that but it just spilt out and there wasn't much I could do about it now. He sits up, more aware of the situation. He bites this tongue and looks like he's deep in thought, I lean my head against the wall. Then I hear it, whispers and footsteps. I stand up faster than I could think, catching Quackity's Attention. "I hear Dream, you have to have some sort of secret place or something don't you?" I ask him, trying to be quiet, he smiles. "you know me all too well Y/n." he says with a smirk, pressing a button under the arm rest of his chair. A small crawl space in the wall opens and we both go over, squishing into the small space. Once it's closed I lean my head against the wall, listening. The voices are faint, but I hear them clear enough to understand. "God dammit, why did we think it was a good idea to leave Y/n by herself." I hear Dream mumble, clearly frustrated. "Wilbur is literally going to fucking kill me if he finds out, Where is SapNap." He scoffs, I hear his footsteps constantly as he paces back and forth. "He is with Karl, they went to some berry garden or something like that. They wanted to see the sunset." George says, He sounds close to the wall we are in. I move away from the wall and process what George said. Even in the dark I see Quackity looking at me, knowing he heard George as well. SapNap and Karl left, while I was in the nether alone and for all they know I cold have been getting killed. "They aren't here. Let's check L'manburg, If she's not there then we panic." Dream says, I listen to their feet leave and Quackity and I quietly and slowly leave the crawlspace. "I need to get back to L'manburg, I don't need Wilbur killing Dream and Dream panicking. " I say, forcing out a small laugh. Quackity smiles and sits on his bed. "Yeah, Have fun making excuses for those two." He says with a chuckle, I roll my eyes and go to the door. I open the door and walk out, and I stop. "oh, Quackity? You look better without the beanie." I say with a smile, and turning around closing the door behind me.
