The first few shows had went by rather quickly, it was a great change to their lives that had seemed to slip in to the shadows for that long period of time without their music or performances; the whole band had a new view on their careers and music.

After shows, the whole band would get together at the nearest ritzy bar and grab a few drinks; Stevie was the only one that would have non alcoholic drinks. She'd order Virgin Mary's or Carbonated soda.

None of the other band members but Lindsey understood on WHY Stevie had given up her tongue for alcohol, that was always something that she liked to enjoy after shows and now it had dramatically changed.

Stevie wasn't about to tell the other members about her ache for a child, about how desperately she wanted to become a mother before her time was up; how she wanted to share something extremely special with Lindsey -- something that only lovers and people that were in love would share, she wanted to feel like she was going to bring up a talented young girl; a girl that she could keep close to her heart and be able to hear the word, "Mom", coming from her own creation.

Lindsey placed a hand on Stevie's back, he rubbed it a little; he had begun to open up a lot more since their first intimate night together, they've been sleeping together every night and Stevie had been checking her calendar for the next time her menstrual cycle would appear.

Stevie looked towards Lindsey and gave him a smile as she took another sip of her Carbonated soda, she never felt more loved in her life; all the years that she had been on and off with Lindsey -- she'd never experienced his love like this.

After the band decided that it was getting quite late, they all said their good nights and headed back to their hotels, Lindsey and Stevie were sharing theirs now and so they would catch a limo together.

"I can't even begin to tell you how amazingly happy I feel," Stevie said as he closed the hotel door behind them.

"Oh yeah?" he wrapped his arms around her waist.

"Oh yeah," she smiled.

Lindsey placed a gentle kiss on her lips and moved her towards the bed, continuing his kisses as he fell on top of her; moving his hands throughout her hair.

She kicked off her boots and wrapped her knees around him, bucking slightly as his hands felt up her breasts through the top of her dress.

"God, you make me feel so alive," he whispered as he nibbled on her earring in her right ear.

She chuckled as her hands played through the curls on the back of his head, "Well you deserve it."

"Do I?" Lindsey took her face.

"Yes," she studied his glistening eyes.

He rolled off of her and ran his hands through his hair, he wasn't sure if he was dreaming or living; it was hard to tell since all his dreams were just now coming true. Why would it take them so long?

"What's wrong?" Stevie sat up and placed a hand on his shoulder.

"Nothing, I just..." he looked towards her, "I just can't believe that I'm sitting here and having such a civilized conversation with you, that's just not supposed to happen with us; I hope I'm not dreaming because then this would mean that my one dream that had yet to come true...is."

She smiled and wrapped her arms around him, rocking him slightly, "I could say the same thing."

Lindsey wrapped one arm around her and lifted her chin up with a finger; he looked in to her eyes, "For you to even think about wanting my baby, wow, it blows me away."
