Two years later

When I say that these two years have been the best years of my whole entire life... There is no single thing about it that wouldn't be true.

Because they were. I have the life I have ever dreamed of. Keenan and I moved into our own apartment because he said he wouldn't want me to move into a apartment he already had a woman in. He said he would want to start completely over with me.

I have found a job as a therapist right after coming back from England to New York. It's been nothing but amazing to have clients, talk to them and help them by even putting a smile on their faces. I loved every single second of it so far.

Keenan is probably the sexiest principal the world has ever seen. The faces of the other students and the teachers when they first saw us together were unforgettable.

And as for Keenan and me in general? We have been the happiest we could have ever been. Everything has been perfect. We traveled to places all over the world as much as we were possible and right now we're in italy. With his family.

Keenan's mom has the biggest heart and has been treating me like I have been in the family for years now. To see my boyfriend the way he is with his mother and Adriana and Aiden's children makes my heart make hundreds of jumps inside me. God what a father this man would make.

"Gianna! guarderesti la mia salsa per un momento per favore?" Giulia shouts from downstairs asking me if I could watch her sauce for a moment. I insisted for Keenan to teach me italian. I think I'm doing great.

And so did Keenan with me teaching him spanish.
He sounds so damn sexy while talking both. "Uno momento, Giuliana!" I shout back at her.

"You have to let me go, Keenan. You don't want your mom's sauce to get burnt, don't you?" I aks him after he wouldn't let me get out of bed. "I just can't stay away from you."

"Then go watch the sauce with me. I don't want to get in trouble with my mother in law." I tell him, get a shirt over my bare body and look at him.

"You coming?" I ask him and watch him get out of bed to put on some clothes and then kisses me. "Mother in law, huh?" He asks. Yes. Mother in law.

I was just about to get down the stairs but got stopped by my boyfriend when he turned me around, wrapped his arms around my back and pulled me close to him.

"I love you, mi amor. I just remembered that Aiden and I have to run a few errands. I'll pick you up at eight today. Put on a nice dress and be outside then, okay?" What is he planning? Do we have any anniversary I forgot about?

Is it his birthday? "Okay. I love you too." He kisses my cheek and then heads out the front door where Aiden already waits in the car and drives off as soon as Keen is inside. Adriana is standing in the kitchen and feeds her three year old daughter. I am very sad that I didn't get to meet Mila when she was born because it was at the time I was in England.

But we made up for all the time we missed with each other. She's amazing. Just like Lizzie.

I get to the stove and start stirring the sauce a little as Adriana looks out the window next to me. "Who would have thought that we would ever see him this happy... You helped him bring a Keenan to light that even his family has never seen before. We've never seen him this happy."

I have never tried to compare myself to Emma. But it still feels good to hear that I am the reason for him being the happiest he has ever been.

But it's the same with me. He did the exact same with me. I just smile and look at her, then turn my attention back to the stove.

He's picking me up in a few minutes. I still don't know what he has in mind but I put my hair in some waves, did my usual makeup and put on the beige sage dress he likes.

I look pretty. I say that as I look in the mirror. Notice something?

I already hear the horn honking from outside so I hurry down the stairs, tell everyone goodbye and get into his Mercedes. He instantly grabs the side of my face, places a kiss on my cheek and then lets go of me.

He always does that when he sees me after some time. "You look absolutely gorgeous, bellissima." He tells me, starts the car and then takes my hand in his to put small circles over my soft skin with his thumb.

We arrive at the beach and he suddenly pulls something out of the console. A blindfold? "What? You going to kidnap me now?" I ask him in a joking way while he just smirks and puts it around my eyes.

Keenan helped me get out of the car, picked me up bridal style so I probably wouldn't fall on the sand due to my heels and places me down on a hard underground.

"Stay here." He says. And then, I hear combined with the sounds of the waves... a turntable and the song can't help falling in love by Elvis Presley.

Keenan said when we danced to this song that day in his library... he said this was the moment he knew he had strong feelings for me.

"Take the blindfold off." He instructs me to do and even tho I already head a feeling as soon as I heard the song, I still started ugly crying when I saw the love of my life on one knee with a velvet box in his hand right in front of me.

There are many laterns around us and so many white roses. He knows I only like white ones so they are literally all over the place.

"You'll have to stop crying or I can't hold myself back either, baby." He tells me with a big smile on his face and then opens the box, revealing an absolutely beautiful ring.

"I would have never thought that I would do this again. That I would ever love again. But you came into my life like a storm and now stick to my heart like a burdock. I would have never thought that I would ever want to have kids in the future again or even have a woman in my life again.

But you made all these thoughts go away as soon as you fell into my arms the evening I met you. I wouldn't say that it was love at first sight but let me tell you, Gia I knew that you were going to be a part of my life if I ever saw you again after this night.

And now look where we are. You really are the love of my life, bellissima. So I'm asking you here if you, Gianna Ashley Travino would give me the honor to be your husband and hopefully the father of the 100 babies we will have in the future."

I'm speechless. Don't know what to say or how to react. But then I manage to say the words and grab his face to kiss him. "Yes! A thousand times yes."

Keenan sighs into my mouth and releases a nervous laugh while he puts the beautiful diamond on my finger. "I love you." He tells me.

God, Romano. You have no idea how big my love for you is... but I guess I have a lifetime to show it to you from now on....
