Chapter 15: Welcome home

A few months later*

Marshall's injuries are almost all healed. Katie said he could go home and continue his recovery this Wednesday and everyone was as excited as they were pleased.

When everyone saw Marshall get off the ambulance they all greeted him with warm smiles and immidiately rushed to see how he was doing.

Everest: "Welcome home Marshall"
She said standing beside Marshall's wheelchair. This past few months she had been visiting him in the hospital everyday even after she was tired after a mission.
She helped feed him and always tried to keep Marshall from being bored from being stuck on a hospital bed. They're relationship also grew closer than before.

But they still haven't confessed to each other... yet. They tried but it's either being interrupted by Katie or they change the topic on the last second.

Marshall: "Thanks"
He smiled. Marshall was very grateful for everything she had done for him. He just wish he would heal more quickly so he could make it up to her.

Chase: "So you finally decided to stop lazing about" Chase came over and said. He was pretty happy that his bff was finally on the road to full recovery and was allowed back home with them.

Marshall: "Hehe yeah, I can't let you keep on filling up for me now can I? Red isn't really your color." He joked.

Chase: "Meh, I think I look good in it actually." They both giggled.

Chase: " Welcome home Marshall..."

Marshall: "Thanks Chase."
They hugged each other and retreated.

After a few greetings with the pups which missed him so much and vise versa. Ryder let him continue his rest up the lookout tower where a bed and his doggy dishes were already set up for him.

Marshall: "Thanks pups, Ryder."

Ryder: "Anytime Marshall"

Marshall seemed to notice something missing.
Marshall: "Hey, where's Froll?" He looked around but couldn't see him anywhere. He also wasn't there when the pups welcomed him back.

Ryder: "Actually, I'm not sure either. He left a few weeks ago saying that he wants to find something to help you get better. Something about a... Healing plant I guess?"

Rocky: "Hey guys! Look who's back!"
Rocky walked out from the elevator with Froll behind.

Marshall: " Hey Froll! How's it been?" He gave a big smile.

Froll: "I should be asking you that" he kept walking forwards while smiling back at him. He was carrying a bag, sorta like a pup-pack kinda way.

Marshall: "Well, I've been discharged from the hospital and they said I just need a few more weeks of rest to fully recover." He explained.

Froll: "Oh good then. This might help hasten the process." He smiled mysteriously.

Marshall: "What do you-"before Marshall could finish Froll pulled out something from his bag. It was a greenish leafy plant which looks like an alovera plant.

Ryder: "What's that?" Ryder asked curiously.

Froll: "This is called a Cleansing herb. It helps cleanse wounds and body for impurities and even help bone recovery.

This type of herb can only be found at soil rich and fertile areas like the jungle or sometimes the mountains, but it rarely grows there. I asked tracker and Carlos for help to find it but this type of plant is very rare so it took me 2 weeks before we managed to find one by the monkey temple.
