Everest: "I- I better go see Skye about some. Uh. Girl Stuff!" She said rushing down the elevator.

Meanwhile Chase had a smirk on his face. I couldn't help but feel embarrassed.

Me: "I- I SWEAR WE DIDN'T DO ANYTHING!"

Chase: "Hmm? I haven't even said anything yet." He grinned.

Me: " Uh-! I- uhhhh."

Chase: "So you decided to make a move after all?" He said sitting beside me.

Me: " Well I almost did... UNTIL you came in..." I said rolled my eyes at him.

Chase:. "Sorry about that I didn't know that you two would be making out here."

Me: "WE- WE WEREN'T-!" I. WAS. BLUSHING. HARD.

Chase: "Well even if I didn't accidentally barged in that's where it's going anyway."

Chase: "Oh right!" He facepawed. "I know it's kinda late to tell you this but, me and Skye are... Kind of a thing now." He scratched his forearm.

Me: "WHAT?! SINCE WHEN???" I exclaimed in surprise.

Chase: "That... Day... I haven't had the chance to tell you since we had the mission. And you ended up in a hospital bed"

Me: "Well at least something good happened that day. Congratulations by the way for you, you've got a lucky catch"

Chase: " I know, and I'm not planning of letting her go for even minute."

Me: "Good. Oh and one more thing."

Chase: " Hmm? What's that?"

Me: "Let me give you a warning. Don't you dare hurt Skye." I said eyeing him.
"It may not seem like it but she's like a sister to me, if you ever hurt her in anyway! Well, let's just say I won't be myself by then, if you get what I mean."

Chase: "Don't worry. I Chase, vow to always protect her heart and will never under any circumstances allow her to even drop a single tear. Cross my heart hope to fly this pup never tells a lie." He made a cross on his chest.

Me: " Good." I smiled." Regardless I'm happy for you two."

Chase: "Hey I'm happy for you and Everest too. I mean both of you seem like you're not so passive now."

Me: "Y-you think so?"

Chase: "Course I am! it's so obvious!"

Me: "Ehem!* Look who's taking"

Chase: "Nevermind that. How's your bones doing?"

Me: "In my estimate I think they'll be fully healed by tomorrow evening."
