The next day, everything proceeded as normal. To no one's surprise, Chase and Froll were the first ones up. They were the ones who usually go around and wake everyone up. Well, that excluded Abby and Skye. Which everyone wasn't surprised to the slightest why.

Ruble: "Why do they get to sleep longer?"

Zuma: "Because dude. Being the person/pup of interest of the second in command and a wolf pup/soon to be alpha gives them that perk."

Ruble: "Is that fair?"

Rocky: "No. But is it a bad thing?"

Ruble: "I guess not." He shrugged.

???: "What are you guys murmuring about?"

Chase asked after listening to what they were saying. Froll was slightly behind, but with ears sensitive enough that's only second to Tracker's, he got the gist of it.

Ruble: "Nothing, Lover boy."

Chase: "Yeeahhhh- please don't call me that."

Rocky: "What he means is that, you seem to be giving Skye, a bit better treatment than most of us."

Chase: "I mean, she is my girlfriend."

Rocky: "Yes, but she's also a member the pawpatrol. And as far as I know, we're all treated equally."

Zuma: "I mean dude, come on, don't be that guy."

Chase: "What guy?"

Zuma: "Y'know... A simp..?"

Chase: "SIMP?? WHO'S THE SIMP??!"

Froll: "I'll give you one better, What's a 'simp'?"

Ruble: "I'll give you one better. Where's simp?"

Rocky: " I'll give you one better, Why's  simp? "

Zuma: "Okay, enough with the GOG marvel reference!"

Chase: "Okay okay."

Rocky: "Okay geez."

Froll: "Seriously though, what's a simp?"

Ruble: "Someone who desperately does everything for the person they like."

Froll: "Oh. I feel like that's a good thing though, why do you make it sound so bad?"

Rocky: "Because it's at the cause of his and everyone's detriment."

Froll: "Ah... I get it now."

Rocky: " You're also  pretty close to that level. "

Froll: " W-wait, how am I involved in this?"

Zuma: "Well, to be faiw, Fwoll seems to be a lot better compared to Chase. He doesn't do whatever his 'fiance' tells him to."

Froll: "I still prefer the term 'childhood friend' but thanks. "

Chase: " Okay now, come on guys I'm not that much of a push over-"

Zuma: " Um. You kinda are. "

Rocky: "Yeah, it literally just takes some sweet talk before you give in."

Ruble: "You're supposed to be the toughest dude, come on, keep it together." After that last sentence, Ruble, Rocky and Zuma all went inside the lookout.

Chase: "But-... Sigh." He sighed in defeat. "What are they even talking about?"

Froll: " I know right? Clearly I'm tougher than you. "

Chase: "Not the best time bud."

Froll: "I'm just messing with ya. Come on, we might as well wake up Skye and Abby."
