Trois' pov

*Two days later*

I was wandering around, wondering whether or not I wanted to be in Ten Forward.

Someone walked up to me "Counselor."

I turned around and I smiled "Hello, Wesley."

"I heard you have a daughter that just graduated from the academy who's coming aboard the ship, is that true?"

I smiled "Yes, that's true, why?"

"I didn't know you had a daughter."

I smiled "Yes I do, she's 17, you two should get along nicely."

"Why's that?"

I smiled "You'll see."

I walked away into Ten Forward, leaving him in the corridor.

I saw Will at the bar talking to someone, and I walked up to him.

"Hello, Will." I smiled.

He turned around to see me and he smiled "Hello Deanna, how are you?"

"I'm excited, but also a little nervous." I admitted.

"Impatient?"

I nodded.

"Yes, I can't wait for y/n to get here."

He smiled "Me too."

"Do you want something to drink, Deanna?" He asked.

"Yridian tea." I smiled.

He smiled "Alright," He turned around to a bartender "A Yridian tea, please."

"I heard that Geordi, Worf, and Data are playing poker tonight, should we join them?" I asked.

"I was already planning to." He smirked.

I smiled "I'll get Beverly to join us."

"The more the merrier." He smiled.

*A couple hours later*

"Alright, the game is Blackjack, can't go above 21, whoever goes above 21 is out, closest to 21 gets the pot." Will said as Data gave him a deck he was done shuffling.

"Kings, Queens, and Jacks are tens, Aces are elevens." He explained as he handed us one card.

He handed us all another card and I felt Beverly get excited.

Will looked at his upside-down card and he put his poker face on.

"Hit me." Worf said.

Will tossed him another card and Worf pounded his hand on the table.

"I fold." He said angrily, putting his cards upside down.

"Hit me." I said and Will tossed me a card.

I looked at my cards and I added them all up together.

5+8+6=19.

Dare I ask for another card? Maybe I will get lucky.

"Hit me again." I said and Will tossed me another card.

I looked at it.

5, definitely out.

"I fold." I said, putting all of my cards upside down.

Geordi hesitantly said "Hit me."

Will tossed him a card.
