You were laughing with your guy friend over a joke he made when you felt someone grabbed your wrist and pulled you up. You were so shocked that you almost lost your balance, only to be steadied by someone. You looked back to glare at that rude person, only to see Jungkook. And he was the one glaring at you.
"What the hell?" You asked him, trying to pull your arm away from him but he held it firmly.
"Hey, man, you're hurting her," your friend said but Kook ignored him.
"Come with me," he said then dragged you away from your friend.
The whole time you were walking, you tried to take your arm away from him but failed. He was just too strong for you.
When he finally stopped walking and released your arm, you glared at him so hard if looks could kill, he'd be a bloody mess now on the ground.
"What the hell, Kook?" You asked him again.
"Why are flirting with that guy?" He asked in a dangerously low tone.
"Well, that guy is my friend. And I'm not flirting with him. What is it to you if I am anyway?" You raised an eyebrow at him.
You swear, you liked Kook. Loved him even. But he's always like this an it's pissing you off. You had always held this secret crush for him but when he's being like this, it's easy to forget that you like him.
Kook just stared at you for a moment but didn't answer. You rolled your eyes at him and tapped your foot impatiently.
"Well?" You asked but he still didn't respond.
"If you're not gonna answer, I'll go back to my friend now," you said before turning your back on him.
"Because I like you," he blurted out and you froze on your spot. "No, I don't just like you. I love you," he said.
You slowly turned to face him again, your eyes wide with shock. You didn't know what to say. True, you like him too. But only as a friend. You love him because he'd been your best friend for a long time now. But not like this.
You shook your head slowly at him.
"Koo... Jungkook... I'm so sorry but.." you began but he raised his hand to stop you.
"Don't say it. Don't," he said and it broke your heart to see him so devastated.
"I'm sorry," you said again.
The pained look in his eyes before he turned to leave will sure haunt you forever.
