You and Jungkook just decided to end you late night date.
As you were walking back to your apartment, you saw a stray dog in the middle of the street.
"Aigoo," you whispered, automatically scared just with the sight of the big dog.
"What's wrong?" Jungkook asked, still not seeing the dog. You slowly pointed you to the obstacle in front of you before hiding behind your boyfriend's back.
"Ah..." Kook simply said when he saw what you're pointing at.
"Let's just wait here til the dog leaves, Kookie," you said but JungKook shook his head.
"Don't worry, Jagi. That dog won't hurt you," he tried to console you.
"You don't know that," you said, giving him a sharp look but you're sure it ended up looking pitiful since you can't control your nerves.
"Okay, then. How about this one. I'm right here and I won't let that dog hurt you," he said, looking at you, his eyes prompting you to trust him.
"But... oppa... I'm still scared," you said weakly.
"Just trust me. I won't let it hurt you," he said, raising his hand to caress your cheek. You nodded. Slowly, JungKook began to move forward and since you are still clinging behind him, you just followed his lead.
"Oh, come here, Jagi," he said as he realized your position. He put his arm around your waist and held you close to him. "Lean on my chest and close your eyes if you're still scared," he whispered and so you complied. "You're shaking, Jagi. Don't be scared now."
You nodded and just concentrated to the sound of Kook's heartbeat as you walked slowly with him. After a few minutes, you heard JungKook chuckled.
"We're already here," He said and you lift up your head to confirm it.You are now in front of your apartment, far away from the scary dog. You let out a relieved breath and hugged JungKook.
"Thank you, oppa."
"You're welcome," He said, giving you a light kiss on your head. ~end
