I WATCHED AS THE BEADS FELL ON THE GROUND, BOUNCING A THEY SCATTERED AWAY FROM US. I slowly looked up and stared at Jungkook's face, shock and fear evident in my expression.
When I realized what just happened, I pulled my arm from him and placed as much distance as I could from him. I felt my tears began to fall as I tremble - in shock, in fear or in pain, I'm not sure.
Jungkook stared at me regretfully, his hands help up in front of him, palms up. He was slowly walking towards me, but I kept on moving backwards.
"Y/N, I'm sorry... I didn't mean to..." he began but I shook my head. "I swear, it wasn't intentional. I was just too angry..." he tried again and I just answered him with a sob.
"Y/N," he called my name so mournfully that it made my heart jump. I felt myself almost took a step towards him but I held my ground.
"You are always like this," I began, my hand automatically reaching to where my bracelet snapped on my wrist. I caressed the raw skin where Jungkook pulled me a little too forcefully, making my bracelet break. "You'd get jealous over nothing, get angry, hurt me, then say you're sorry. I'm so tired of it."
I saw Jungkook gaped at my words. He shook his head and looked straight at me, tears forming around his eyes.
"No. Please don't," he croaked, voice thick with tears. I felt my heart twist at the sight. I want to go to him. To hold him in my arms. To make him happy. But I shouldn't. I know I shouldn't.
So, taking a deep breath instead, I gave him a sad, pained smile. "I'm sorry , Jungkook, but we have to. I'm breaking up with you."
The cry that escaped Jungkook's lips made me want to take back what I had just said. Kook fell on his knees and cried, asking me not to do this. He went to me and took my hand, hugged it and kissed it. He pulled me down and gave me a tight hug.
"I'm so sorry, Y/N," he cried. "I promise I won't get jealous again... just please don't leave me..."
I just shook my head at him. Slowly removing his arms on me, I gave him a farewell kiss on his cheek, and left.
