Adelina grunted as Maynard's foot planted against her lower abdomen. She slid backwards with a tired sigh, then spat out the sour saliva that coated her tongue; a result of the nausea from Maynard's kick. Her brain shook in her skull, and her muscles began to ache with a discouraging vibration. Adelina placed her hands on her knees, her ears registering Maynard's own exhausted grunt, as well as Anna-Marie, who had begun screaming.

"Give up Luna. No need to go down fighting." Maynard said, his body starting to feel winded and pummeled. The Luna was putting up a much better fight than the last time they sparred. He had expected her to go down within the first few minutes, or at least give into her wolf. But she remained a strong competitor.

Adelina lifted her eyes and watched the vampire.

"Aden?" Adelina called out, then her eyes shifted over to Anna-Marie who had begun screaming, while Joey tried to hold her down.
"Yes Adelina." Aden replied calmly, already knowing what her human was thinking.
"We gotta take him out." Adelina explained, her eyes shifting over to Anna's position for a quick second, "Anna needs me. This has gone on long enough. Do you know what to do?"
"On your word." Aden confirmed.
"Good."

Adelina straightened her back, and staggered her feet. She bended her knees, and bounced on her toes to build the momentum, then with one last glance in Anna's direction, she looked at Maynard and said with a nod of her chin, "You first."

Aden roared in Adelina's throat as the Luna extended her claws and fangs. She lunged into the air, and Maynard did the same with a growl of his own. The two creatures met in the air, their bodies crossing in the light of the moon. Adelina anticipated Maynard's actions, and planted her right leg on his knee, then she looped her left leg around his waist, lining her chest firmly on his back.

Their bodies began to cascade back to the ground. Adelina allowed her form to fall victim to gravity, as she skillfully placed her weight on Maynard. They fell faster. Maynard began to thrash in the air. Adelina's weight would make it impossible to break his fall. The Luna saw this as an opportunity. She pulled on Maynard's hair and sunk her fangs into the pale cold flesh of his neck, releasing her venom as soon as his blood crossed her lips. Maynard screamed into the night, as he fell to the ground on bended knee. A sickening crack shot from his thigh, as the bone in his upper leg shattered beneath his muscles, causing a lightning-like burn to rush through his lower extremity.

The Luna's venom burned through Maynard's veins, paralyzing him completely, and the pain in his leg pulsed with every second he breathed. Maynard lost control of his upper extremities and had no chance of unhooking the wolf from his body. Then with fangs still penetrating his skin, Adelina grabbed Maynard's jaw and head, twisting it harshly.

Maynard's body pulsed, then froze. His jaw was perched on his left shoulder, his eyes abnormally looking over his back. Adelina removed her fangs, and spat out the dark red blood that coated her gums and burned her throat like a bitter oil. Maynard's body fell to the ground, chest forward, and at his left pelvic angle and joint, blood began to spill from his body, a piece of sharp bone pointing straight at the silver moon.

Adelina stood with animal-like puffs. She wiped her mouth, and felt like screaming out savagely against the silver spotlight.

"Easy girlfriend." Aden monitored, as she felt a monstrous energy bubble in Aden's body.
"You got him," Aden continued, "So now breathe. No lashing out. Don't give in to the blood lust." Aden advised. Adelina felt her wrists tighten. Her lips vibrated as a low growl thrummed through her throat. Her eyes remained fixated on Maynard's corpse. Every part of her body screaming that she tear his body apart and burning him.
"You won fair and square Adelina, he's dead." Aden said softly, then with a firm note she added, "Walk away.
