Karl was overwhelmed with emotions. Making the feeling in his stomach worse. The thought of seeing Sapnap in person makes his face heat up, and the butterflies that are apparently in his stomach go crazy. He still has a hard time believing there are literal butterflies living in his stomach, since he can't see them and he has always had stomach issues when he was a kid. Even though it never got this bad-What if the butterflies crawled in his throat at night and got stuck? Or maybe the butterflies were just there at the right time, making him think he had couched them up?
Either way he had to get better before Friday when Sapnap comes to visit. He was looking forward to him visiting, if he can settle this whole stomach ache thing out. What better way to do that then to go to a doctor, remembering what George had said the other night.
"Hm, that's weird. Honestly I have no idea? Probably see a doctor?"
Right after Karl sent his address to Sapnap he got into his car and drove to the nearest doctors office.—
"Karl Jacobs?" The receptionist calls out into the waiting room. Karl gets up, following her to the correct room. His stomach still felt queasy, but way better than before. He takes a seat on one of the plastic chairs located in the back corner of the small room he was led to.
He sat impatiently, second guessing how the doctor will actually believe him. Once they do an X-ray they'll see. He kept saying to himself as he heard footsteps getting progressively closer to the room he was in. He took a deep breath as the door opened to reveal a tall brunette woman. Her hair was just above shoulder length; her eyes were a deep forest green, and light freckles covered her face, the welcoming smile that showed all of her perfectly white teeth not leaving her face for not even a second.
"And you must be Karl, hello I'm Dr. Simons." She greets Karl, holding her hand out for him to stand up and shake. "Yes, it's nice to meet you." He greets back with a smile. "What might be the problem?" She asks, clutching onto her clipboard as she stood in front of Karl with a concerned look.
He knew he shouldn't just go straight to the "I have butterflies growing in my stomach" thing, so he just waited for her to see them for herself. Spare the pain of people thinking he's crazy. "I have been having really bad stomach pains, and was hoping for an X-ray." Karl explains, hoping it's that easy to just get an X-ray done. "I might be able to see what it is without one?" She suggests. "What are your symptoms?" She asks, getting ready to take notes on her clipboard.
"I- ok I know this is going to sound crazy but... I have been getting this fluttery feelings, like the feeling you get when you- like fall in love? But it feels like little knives scratching at the inside of my stomach." Karl explains, trying to make it sound the least crazy he could. "Oh- alright, that is definitely... something." She sighs, not knowing what to do. "Ok then, maybe you should get an X-ray done." She says before motioning for Karl to follow her out the door.

"Alright Mr. Jacobs, if I can get you to lift up your shirt so I can take some pictures that'd be great." She explains, getting a big machine ready after turning off all the lights in the room. "Stay as still as possible." She orders softly. After about ten minutes she took two photos. Placing them on a light-up board on the wall in front of Karl to look at.
His stomach immediately dropped. Butterflies were bunched up in his stomach, swarming around the acid that formed in it. They grew. There were only at least six, but they were bigger then the ones he threw up days ago. "D-do you see that?" He asks, shaking from the overwhelming fear he was feeling. "See what?" Dr. Simons asks, leaning in extra close to try and see what he was seeing.
"T-the butterflies!" He exclaims, pointing to the butterflies he was seeing. "There's nothing there sir-" She says in concern.

This is the most weirdest client Dr. Simons has helped. And she has seen some psychotic people. She looks even closer, only seeing Karl's stomach, nothing more. "There's nothing there sir-" She observes with concern. She looks over to see Karl's face immediately turn into pure fear. "I mean I can prescribe some pain killers for you-" She suggests, but before she could finish Karl was already out the door. "No! I should be fine! Thank you doctor!" He yells as he hastily rushes out the door.
