"Actually, I will show you to your room in just a second!" Karl calls out to Sapnap as he quickly sprints to the bathroom. He could already feel the saliva rise in his mouth, being a prime symptom of vomit. He immediately shut the bathroom door. Collapsing onto the floor in a fetal position in attempt to settle his stomach. It didn't work. He stood back up, gazing at the pale brunet figure in the mirror in front of him. He didn't recognize that strange person. Huge bags under his eyes, skin as white as paper. He looked terrible. As he stared at himself his thoughts travelled back to Sapnap.
He's here- in my house- right now.
He couldn't believe it. The moment he realized what he had done it was to late. He quickly leaned over the toilet to let it out. Butterflies came flying out. He stared at them in disgust.A sudden knock at the door made Karl jump. "Karl? You ok?" Sapnap's voice could be heard on the other side of the door. He immediately flushed the toilet, quickly spitting out some of the gross aftertaste. "Uh- yup!... perfectly fine just one more second!" Karl yells back, hoping that would be enough to convince Sapnap.

Karl took another couple minutes to just rest. Taking a moment to sit down, splash some water in his face. "You feeling ok?" Sapnap asks with a concerned filled face. "Better now that I got that out of my system." Karl responds with a small giggle as he took a seat beside Sapnap on the couch. Keeping a couch cushion of space apart from each other.
"Yeah, it's just a little stomach flu." Karl shrugs it off, sitting sideways on the couch to face Sapnap. "Well, what do you want to do?" Sapnap asks with a small sympathetic smile. "Wanna watch a movie? Just stay in and relax for the rest of the night?" Karl suggests, still feeling kind of gross from before. "I'd like that," Sapnap says with the same smile that Karl loved all to much.
Karl got out the remote to let Sapnap pick the movie, not being to picky when it comes to what he watches. Sapnap ended up picking a comedy, which relieved Karl since he would like a little of enlightenment in these painful times. As they got comfortable Sapnap found himself sitting closer and closer to Karl by the minute. They were both very touchy and affectionate people, but Karl knew if he would return the affection he would just have to get up that second to throw up again, so he pretended to not notice. Ignoring the butterflies duplicating in his stomach. Trying to focus on only the movie.
Every time Sapnap laughed it was hell for Karl, but a good hell. It hurt a lot, but Karl would suck it up just to hear it. He didn't want to ruin this perfectly good night even more then he already has. Halfway through the movie Sapnap spoke up, claiming he needed to use the washroom. "I'll be right back." He informed Karl, getting up and walking down the hall.
Karl sat there nervously waiting, staring mindlessly at the paused movie. Not even five minutes later he heard footsteps walking back towards him. "I think you left a window open or something." Sapnap said out of the blue as he took his seat beside Karl. "What do you mean?" Karl looks over at Sapnap, puzzled. "There were butterflies in the hall. I'm not complaining they were beautiful, but you should get that checked out." Sapnap explains. "What did they look like?" Karl asked cautiously, not wanting them to be the ones he's been throwing up for days. "They were orange, I think they were Monarchs actually." He shrugged. Karl's stomach dropped. Fuck.
