I spent each day as usual.
When I think about school libraries, I think about big classrooms in one of the buildings or an adjacent room near the faculty office. I never thought about it being a 2-storey, big modern building. The beige and grey building is found near the college department.
Anyway, I was passing by the faculty when I overheard something.
"If you don't get a perfect grade in my exam, a failing grade in my subject is expected. Not that telling you this will change anything." Uh, that sounds like ma'am K. It couldn't be her, though, right? There's no way she could be talking to a student that way. That's too harsh.
"Well, I was expecting this. I know how this will affect your varsity scholarship, and I know you do too. So, hire a tutor. You could afford that, right? Unlike the poor students that deserve the scholarship more than you do." She said bitterly before I heard her heels going away.
What did I just hear? And did I really hear that right? I could report that!
I didn't mean to eavesdrop, but if I was to report to this, I must know who it was. Wanting to see who it was without being seen, I tiptoed to the wall. I looked around first, to see if anyone else is on sight, before sticking to the wall and walking to the hallway on my right.
I heard the scraping of a rubber shoes that sounds like the owner is running away so I abandoned the sneaking plan and ran too.
I was too late.
I tried to remember the design but it's too blurry. I wasn't even sure if it was orange or red.
