Keiji's POV:

I sat under a tree a good distance away from where Achilles had saved me, not wanting to witness the fighting. I bit my bottom lip as I picked at my fingers, what were those things? Vampires maybe? They sure seemed to act like them, I quickly turned my head as I hear a stick break

Achilles walked towards me, there had been something In the way he looked at me that made me want to cower, not in a bad way though. I quickly but nervously stood to my feet looking up at the male, "Achilles-" I started but I'm cut off as his lips met my own pushing me up against the tree, I couldn't help the sudden moan that escaped my mouth

He pulls away from me leaning down slightly so that he was somewhat on my level, I smiled at his actions. "Don't ever do that again." He commands in concern his fingers caressing my cheek gently, "Why didn't you tell me it was dangerous?" I questioned, recalling when I had asked him about the reason I shouldn't leave the forest. He scuffs, "I tried to, you just didn't listen." He then answers

"W-what were they? What are you?" I questioned confidence suddenly surging through me, Achilles looked down thinking. "Keiji, never leave this forest without me. I can't protect you on the outside." He lets out, looking into my eyes with genuine worry. The thought that he worried about me made my heart leap with joy. I cringed at the thought

"But you already did." I say, he sighs. "That was only because you were close, I can't leave this place Keiji. I need you to stay safe, you need to promise me you won't try and venture outside of these woods." He says making me even more so curious, I knew I shouldn't of been. After all I had almost been raped and killed but I couldn't help the genuine curiosity that surrounded me

I wanted to know more, I needed to.

"Tell me, what's waiting for me farther out?" I questioned hoping he'd answer Truthfully, I could tell he didn't want me to know. I don't know if it was because he was also like those creatures and he was scared I'd fear him if I knew of what they were capable of or if he had just been simply worried I would be harmed.

"Keiji, the creatures you saw today were vampires." He answered clenching his fist. I gently grabbed his hand holding it, "And you? What are you?" I questioned softly, he hesitated at first but still answered. "I'm somewhat like a werewolf, only I'm a Lycan. They are more hard to find, I suppose you could call me rare." He answered looking down.

"And what is a rare being as you doing here?" I questioned knowing there had been more to the story that this man was telling me, and I wanted to know.
