Adios máma, Te extrañaré

Memory of Lena'ora Nona- Majín Ghoña

The day has yet arrived. Rana and her husband Julian flew to Mexico for support a day before and spent the night in Lena's house, Stelline, has not yet arrived and Mystic's twin uncles saw her for the first time in eighteen years. Everyone were ready, especially Mystic wearing her favorite purple and gray dress that Lena bought for her graduation.

Eric: You look beautiful
Mystic: *turns around* Not now

He walks and placed his arms around her from behind. She calmed down and eventually, held onto him.

Angelo: VAMOS. Tenemos que irnos

Quickly, Juan and Raúl came downstairs while Eric offered his hand to Mystic, hoping she will take it. Sure enough, she did. Ren and Angelo drove Rona y Julian while Eric drove Mystic and the boys. By the time, they arrived, guests were already there; Bilé, Nilé, in-laws, and nieces and nephews. After the meet and greet, the funeral began.

Bilé: Estamos aquí para honrar la vida de mi hermanita Lena'ora Nona- Majín Ghoña. La única chica de la familia. Nilé, Agusto y yo estábamos allí para ella. Le adorabamos pero no nuestros padres y los hermanos mayores.
Nilé: Ella muy fuerte que todos de nosotros. Nunca la dudamos. We looked up to her even though she was the baby.
Bilé: Cúando se mudó a su propio lugar, todos de nosotros vivieron con ella y le ayudamos hasta que estaba embarazada. Nilé: Estábamos emocionados de ser tíos y no nos importaba cómo Jose, Tein y nuestros padres se sentían.

The twin brothers sat down while everyone applauds

Ren: Ella tuvo una vida dura como la única. Neglected and over looked but did not give up from becoming the woman she was. Impatiently stubborn pero muy independiente. Lena y yo eramos hermanas desde ninez y su familia era mi familia y la misma para ella. Su padres me confiaban con ella porque nuestra amistad. Because of her parents, she was forced into that mindset y hizo todo por su cuenta. If she need real help with something, she would come to Rona, Bilé, Nilé or myself. I have never seen a woman so independent like her and not have a breakdown. Te amo hermanita. Serás estar con nosotros y tu chiquita.

The guest applauds and Mystic walks to the podium

Mystic: Mi madre fue mi amiga mejor. Te quiere mucho. Tomí un viaje a tres lugares: Paraguay, Brasil, y Egipto. En un principo, no quiero que irme porque de su salud pero me rogó. Yo aprendí mucho de cada cultura y fue muy hermosa. Paraguay, la comida es muy deliciosa, Brasíl es muy divertido porque de las fiestas y en Egipto, la comunidad parece como una familia y pensé que no tenía eso. Ahora entiendo. Nunca supe que tenía hermanos pero máma me habló de mis tíos Bilé, Nilé y Agusto pero no recordé hasta que ahora. Mi madre no fue una madre pratica pero ella me enseñó devoción y me adoraba de la mejor manera que sabía cómo. Hice la una promesa, "Nunca sea como yo. Sea la mejor versión de mi" y planeo seguir con eso. Te amo máma y serás estar conmigo.

Eric approach to the podium, offering her hand. Before the closing, they let any guest speak their piece. Shortly, it ended and everyone went back to Lena's for repass. In tribute to her, Mexican food were served. While, Mystic and Eric, decided to go outside for some air.

Eric: I see that you are doing better
Mystic: Working progress
Eric: That's okay.
Mystic: I had a vision of her telling me to let go and live. I was having a hard time letting go, I didn't care of how it will harm me
Eric: That's anybody but you will eventually have to let go. That's just the way and dealing with this alone is the worst you can do yourself because you will end up like how you was.

Eric looks into her eyes, caressing her face and wiping her tears and kiss her. Unlike the last, it was passionate and never like before. By accident, Juan walks in on them and immediately, they stopped.

Mystic: It's not what you think
Eric: No digas por favor
Juan: * laughs* It's about time
Mystic: *Chuckles* It is ain't it?
Eric: Do you want to finish this later?
Mystic: More likely

The couple walks back in the house for a toast. In honor of her best friend, she had Mystic sing one of her favorite songs. While she was singing, she was able to cry few more tears but it wasn't of sadness. She finished and hugged her godmother.

Mystic: Thank you for being here with me
Ren: Claro que sí.
Mystic: ¿Cúando vamos a Paraguay?
Ren: El dómingo. Después del funeral, empieza a empacar.
Mañana, llamaré unos camiones de viaje que pueden ayudarnos.

The funeral shortly ended and Mystic grabbed her suitcase and begins to pack. While everyone was cleaning, there was a knock on the door and Angelo opens

Angelo: Hey Stell!!
Ren: Stelli??
Stelline: It's me. I know we missed the funeral but we still came
Cairo: Where is she?
Ren: Packing. I am pretty sure she would love to see you
Stelline: I have some news to tell you, Ren.

Cairo leaves the conversation and goes upstairs.

Stelline: An agent of Rocky's called me, saying that his estate is was found three days ago with a billion dollar net worth.
Ren: What are you talking about?
Stelline: Rocky had a will but was not found until recently.
Ren: How come we did not know about this?
Stelline: *Shrugs shoulders*
Ren: How long do we have to do this?
Stelline: Until next fall.
Ren: That's when I'm getting married. Can we get this done sooner?
Stelline: Yes but you and Rana need to come to Dominica
Ren: I need to move Myst in. How long we need to stay?
Stelline: Three weeks
Ren: But what about Rona? She is not far from her due date.
Stelline: All the mothers have to be there.
Ren: Did you tell him about Lena?
Stelline: Yes
Ren: We need to figure something out.

Ren and Stelline tells Rana the news. Meanwhile, Cairo comes downstairs seeing the boys straightening up and volunteers. Mystic still packing, Eric walks in.

Eric: Are you packing literally everything?
Mystic: Sort of
Eric: But we have a bed, a dresser, closet, and extra space if that's what's you want.
Mystic: I can't leave these things
Eric: *Holds her hand* This is a new beginning and there are things you are going to leave behind and it's better that way. In the meantime, I will be helping downstairs. If you need anything, I'll come back.
Mystic: Wait, I forgot something

Eric turns around and was tricked into a kiss. He chuckled and says in a low tone, "If we keep doing this, it's going to lead more than just kissing. Mystic laughs and hits him.

For the next five days, Stelline and Cairo stayed in the hotel Ren rented and helped with packing and loading. Rana as the real estate agent, was able to sell the house with Ren's and the twins' permission. By Thursday, everything was cleared. A new beginning was a big fear of Mystic but after that vision, she knew that it was time to overcome.

Mystic: I can't believe you guys are here
Cairo: Perfect timing.
Raúl: Now we have no choice but to stay together
Juan: Estoy contento que Mystic vivirá con nosotros.
Mystic: Yo también.
Juan: Los amos a todos
Raúl: Igúal
Mystic: Yo también
Cairo: Alright, let's exchange numbers
Ren: * Walks in* Are you guys ready?

The other siblings walked outside leaving

Ren: You are doing the right thing and she's more proud of you.
Mystic: Thanks to you. I wouldn't have made it if you didn't come.
Ren: No hables como eso. Estaré contigo para todos
Mystic: Te amo, Máma Ren
Ren: Te adoré entonces y te adoro ahora.
