Ever since the Second Part of the Survival Show happened, the boys always felt like they have been sitting on the very edge of a cliff. Now that there are rankings, it's pressuring for them as they want to get the badge that you could only get if you're rank 1 to 7. And since the voting will not only depend on the producers but also the viewers, they wanted to please each of them. Of course when it comes to the global voting, those who gets high votings from people all around the world would get a high ranking while in terms of the producers, if they're not satisfied with what you've shown thru the current task and you're still lacking in some areas, you might be part of rank 8 down to 12. 

But the thing is--- this time, If you're in rank 12 there's a high possibility for you to get eliminated. The number will decrease and an I-lander will leave after every tests. 

So everyday, every single one of the boys are doing their very best to observe their self. Checking if ever there are parts that they're lacking. And it's not easy, to be in their place. The fear of them being eliminated is scaring them to hell. They want to prove to their family, to their self that they deserve to be an idol and they're deserving. 

And it was a mixed emotion for them. 

Is seeing their ranks in their seats and them with no badge making them unmotivated at times? Yes. But at the same time, it makes them want to strive more. Move forward and get that damn badge. 

And despite being worried at all times, they still managed to make their bond strong. You can say they've gotten much closer. They can lean onto each other, ask each other for help and from there, friendships between one another just kept blooming. 

Sunghoon didn't even think he'd treasure jake so much when they first met. It was odd how quick the two of them clicked. To him, Jake seemed like a piece that he's been looking for a very long time. They're very alike, Sunghoon likes Jake's character very much. That's maybe because Jake really is a likable character. He's easy to be around, he gives off positive energy and makes everyone feel light headed. 

With the rankings, it was shocking to them of course. That some from the ground got higher ranking that those whose been an I-lander. There were people who got higher ranking than people who they assumed will get it and it surprised them. Nevertheless, Everyone worked hard for their spot and each of them have no hard feelings for everyone. 

And maybe it did made Daniel and Sunoo somewhat uneasy as to why they're Rank 2 and Rank 1 when there are others who they think are more experienced and skilled than them. Did it make Sunoo somewhat scared because of the reaction from the I-landers? yes. He didn't want them to feel nor think that he's stealing somebody's spot when he just came back. But with the assurance that he got from them afterwards, from sunghoon and the rest, who told him that he did great-- made that fear go away.
