Tae pulls out the white-binded notebook. His heart hammers hard against his chest with his curiosity hitting the roof. He slowly flips the pages only to shatter them into pieces.

First Friday of June

A boy with black locks almost caught me with a cutter. His name is Taehyung and he is pretty popular. By the looks of it, he wouldn't bother to throw a glance at me.

Second Friday of June.

I opened my eyes only to be met with a familiar figure. I shrieked and fell back. I don't know what was so funny about it but his giggles were the most beautiful sound that I heard that day.

Third Thursday of June.

The boy comes to my alley. I purposely wrote the wrong address. At least for the teacher to find out something is wrong with me. But no one ever came.

None!

But this kid came. He was a scaredy-cat. I saved him by almost slicing a man's leg for him. I don't know the reason either.

Third Thursday of June.

The boy holds me even with a cutter across his neck. He talks about changing my fate. Talks about giving me a new life. Giving me hope.

Am I worthy of it?

Fourth Friday of June

He catches me red-hand and pulls the notebook out of my hand. He scolds me.

Me!

Which no one ever did before? Memories come rushing into my head but this man holds me so comfortingly.

Something I wished my parents would do.

First Monday of July

I pull him to a fancy restaurant. Even take a photo with him, wearing all the expensive stuff. But you can't cover shit with gold. Can you?

I was something similar.

But this man made that piece of shit look a little presentable. Something about him intrigued me.

First Tuesday of July.

I confessed to the police. I parcelled tons of notebooks to their doorsteps with heavy evidence against me. I know they are coming for me. The world will surely see me nothing but a filthy rat that betrayed his master hands.

Those hands that pulled me into this.
My classmates will throw labels at me. Might do worse. The entire world might just see me as a petty drug seller.

But I want you to remember me as Park Jimin.

At least you!

I know it's big favour but I want at least one person to remember me something more than what I have become.

Something human.

Something that's living.

Something that has a right to live.

Kim Taehyung remember me. Please?

Tae heart dropped to his gut as he flipped through the pages. It was painful to even turn another page to the rate his hands were trembling. The next bundle of pages were empty with a square shape cut out in the centre.

Like a box to keep something inside it.

There is a single white powder packet with a sticky note.

"This packet is supposed to be the last packet I ever wanted to sell. The last packet I wanted to give up when a person catches me. And that's you, Kim Taehyung! Keep it as a memento. But make sure you don't get caught (winks)."

Tae wanted to chuckle at the last sentence but his eyes betrayed him. His cheeks were soaked with tears that obliged him to stop. His emotions dug into his heart.

"I will remember you, Park Jimin!"
