A dragon was stalking the desert, the moonlight filtering through her shimmering orange wings. As she prowled the dunes she noticed something glistening among the sand. She walked over to the object and dug it out.
When the thing was uncovered she smiled, a wickedly evil smile. "At last." The dragon said, in a voice that would send a chill along your spine, like centipedes crawling across your back "I have finally found it, the Wasp Jewels."
Unbeknownst to the dragoness, another dragon was spying on her that very moment. Antennae unfurled, indigo wings spread, and the mystery dragon took off. Landing in front of Lady Bloodworm.
Bloodworm leaded back with a hiss. "Who are you" she said in her spine chilling voice "What are you doing here SilkWing." "You are under arrest" the SilkWing replied in a commanding tone "My name is Io, chief of the desert guard, and you are trespassing and stealing from artifacts not entrusted for your usage. Queen Jewel has sent us here to escort you to Jewel Hive immediately." Lady Bloodworm froze "Us?" she asked. And then, four more dragons rose out of the sand behind Io all colors of red, orange, and yellow. And all of them looked ready to fight.
"Atala, Cinnabar, Tau, and Danaid." The SilkWing named Io introduced them all. "We are the Desert Guard and if you want to stay alive I suggest you not try to run." She smiled a smile that told she was rather enjoying this moment. Like she loved hurting HiveWings that had wronged her. "Well, unless you would like to get burnt to a crisp, then go right ahead and try."
Bloodworm took off running for the hills. Io signaled for the guard to give chase. Four of them shot after her, flying as fast as their wings would take them. The fifth, Tau, sprinted back to the nearest hive for reinforcements. They would need back up to catch Lady Bloodworm and get the Wasp Jewels back to the museum. They had to catch her quickly. She was on her own territory.
The rest of the guard was closing the distance between themselves and Lady Bloodworm. They almost had her when suddenly she disappeared among the dunes. "There must be a tunnel around here some were. Start searching." Commanded Io. They searched for hours, but they found nothing.
When the reinforcements arrived they were to late. They had lost her, and the Wasp Jewels. And now the WaspWings had the most powerful weapon in the world in their evil clutches.
