"Well.." you start.

"About that I-"

As soon as you were about to answer, Oikawa entered the gym.

He yawns and his eyes immediately go over to you.

"[y/n]~ Atsushi! You came, I'm glad!" The setter walks over towards you and hugs you. Iwaizumi glares at the brunette, for getting in your personal space.

But there might be another reason.

Either way, he starts to march over until Mattsun holds his shoulder.

"So~ have you two decided on whether or not you wanna join the team~?"

You look over to Atsushi, he nods.

You look back to Oikawa.

"Why not, yeah we'll join!"

Oikawa shows a big smile and hugs you tighter. Whilst the others cheer and run over to Atsushi. Once the whole cheering was done, Oikawa said to congratulate the new members of the team, he would treat them all to Ramen. Of course he wouldn't have enough for everyone so he might have to ask Iwaizumi to pay for at least part of the dinner.

Once you all finish Dinner Oikawa tells you both the schedule, what time it starts and when it ends. When you have practice, and when you don't. The simple stuff. Of course the both of you will have to fill out a form in order to be part of the club.

You both nodded and bid goodbye, and made your way to your rental.

"So Atsushi, what position do you want?" You ask the tiger.

"I haven't really decided that, I'll have to look more into the sport, hehe.."

You hum and look forward to continuing your silent way home.

The following day, you and Atsushi had gotten up earlier than needed, reason being, Oikawa wanted to see how well Atsushi was at the sport so he can decide what position he'll get. The coach also wanted to talk to you, mainly on how good your observation skills are and if you could provide the team with necessary materials.

Once you two got to school, you stood in front of the gym. You look over to Atsushi, and he's... surprisingly calm.

Until you look down at his hand,

It's shaking of course.

You grab his hand and give it a gentle squeeze. He turns towards you and you give him a gentle smile. "Ready Atsushi?"

Atsushi squeeze's your hand and gives you a smile. "Yeah."

You slid open the door and those who were practicing looked over to see who it was.

Oikawa walks over towards the two of you from the serve line.

"Are you two ready?" The brunette asks.

You and Atsushi nod.

And so, practice resumed once more.

The windows all shattered, as someone walked in.

"Oh~ What do we have here?" Dazai sings.
