Hope's POV:
"Ok I think we can do one more memory before we're knocked out," my aunt Freya said, taking a purple candle from the box next to us and quickly lighting it on fire.
"This is ridiculous, can't you just do a locator spell and get this done with," Elena interrupted, ignoring the venomous glares she received from Kol, Rebekah and Katherine.
"I am over a thousand years old and was an apprentice for a powerful witch, of course I tried the locator spell already but I didn't expect anything to happen. And you know why. It's because it's obvious whoever took our memories would have cloaked the children so unless you have any more brilliant ideas I suggest you should leave the magic to the actual witches," my aunt Freya said, already on her last nerve, while the rest of the originals smirked with a proud expression as if to say, that's my big sister.
"That doesn't explain why we have to watch these memories," Caroline interrupted, however unlike Elena who had spoken in a rude and impatient manner, Caroline sounded genuinely curious.
"Imagine it like a door," I spoke, quickly gaining the rooms attention, "You can't open the door without opening the locks, the memories are the locks and until we unlock every memory that was critical to our original timeline, we can never get past those two witches defences and won't ever know the location of the missing children," I explained and watched as the rest of the room nodded in understanding, my mother looking towards me proudly with a twinkle in her eyes.
As everyone started speaking in their own conversations while my aunts prepped for the next spell, my mother walked up to me and kissed my forehead.
"Your gonna make a great alpha one day," she said softly and I smiled back, happy under her praise.
"Ok we're ready," Bonnie said, nodding towards me as she held out her hand. I took it and got ready to chant the spell and once again felt light rush into my vision.
Flashback-Memory 1:
I looked around and noticed that I was in an abandoned street however as I looked, there seemed to be a figure hunched over on the corner of the street, however it was much to dark to see who. I walked towards it and looked down to see my father over two bodies. I glanced curiously at the people who was kneeled over and gasped in shock. It was my uncle Finn and the red head next to him must have been sage, my Uncles first love, I had heard stories about her from my aunt bekah.
Sage was lying on her back, her red hair around her head like a halo and her skin a sickly grey. A stake protruded from her chest and I looked around to see another vampire ,who seemed to have a gaping hole in his chest, lying a couple metres away, forgotten. My uncle Finn lay next to her, a white oak stake in his chest and his skin slowly burning.
My dad lay before the two, tears falling down his face as he spoke in a solemn tone.
"I failed you Finn, I was supposed to keep our family safe but I failed, you and sage were finally Mikaelsons, we finally had peace and now you are dead, I promised to save my siblings but now, in trying to save me, death took you and for that I am sorry, know this. I will not rest until you are brought back to the land of the living. Both of you. Your child will get to know you. I made a promise to our family. Always and forever. I intend to keep it brother," my father said before he got up and stroke a match. He threw it at the deceased couple before taking out two glass vials from his pocket. As the two bodies burned he gathered Finn and sages ash into two different vials and walked away, sending a murderous glare towards the dead vampire, who I looked closely to recognise as Lucien castle.
Before I could think more on this vision, I blinked and was back in the real world.
"Bloody hell," Aunt Rebekah said, looking confused as hell.
"Guess we have to raise dear old brother and his wife back from the dead," my father said to the rest of his siblings, who all nodded back in agreement, after all, they were mikaelson's and as my mother put it, mikaelson's don't bail on each other.
Before anyone else could comment though, another light filled the room and flashes filled my vision of a town, of a school, streets, houses and finally a sign. The flashes ended but I knew we had finally succeeded.
"Did you see that," my mother said, to which my uncle Elijah merely nodded with surprise.
"The locks are all open and the door has finally been unlocked," my aunt Freya muttered under her breath before she looked up and addressed the room, "Seems like the missing children are in Beacon hills,"
Author's note:
Now you may be confused but in this story Lucien bit cami and she died but he never did. Davina willingly allowed herself to be channelled but was protected so the ancestors couldn't shred her soul and she came back. Lucien became a normal vampire but escaped before klaus and Elijah could kill him. He then got his hands on a white oak stake and tried to kill klaus who got saved by sage and Finn. Klaus then ripped Lucien's heart out and that's how he died.
