Hope's POV:
A baby was in each persons arm and I could feel the link between a baby and perhaps their potential parents.
It didn't make sense though, there were vampires here and they couldn't have children, unless they found a loophole. Suddenly my parents walked out of the car, each with a child in their arms.
"I can't believe we're doing this klaus," my mother said softly, looking down at the child in her arms.
"Hope and faith will be alright, they'll be with Rebekah as will the rest of the children," my father said, reassuring my mother.
"Why our children though," Damon Salvatore sneered holding a baby girl in his arms protectively.
"Well, now that we have made an alliance together, a rocky alliance yes, but an alliance nonetheless, your children are in much danger as my nephew and nieces," Elijah said.
"Quite right you are Elijah," said a voice behind me and I whirled around to see 2 people. A boy and girl each hidden behind a blood red cloak. Who the hell were they? It seemed my family didn't know either as each person including the mystic falls gang, growled in retaliation but before they could do anything, the girl flicked her wrist and everyone froze.
"You know the plan," said the boy, his face still hidden behind the cloak.
"If we take all the children and hide them, how will we explain the surge of power," the girl said, looking towards the boy.
He seemed to contemplate this before he looked towards the child in my father's arms.
"We take everyone but leave the tribrid. The surge of power can be said to come from her and since there has not been any like her in the past, no one can suggest otherwise. We'll alter the memories and no one will remember their true feelings, relationships or children," the boy said to the girl.
"What do we do to the children then," the girl said, taking the twins from Caroline and Stefan.
"Place them in the foster system, we'll compel them to stay together, grant them that small mercy, after all we are not punishing the children but the parents," the boy said.
"Very well," the girl replied, walking towards the children but before I could see more, a bright light lit the clearing and I was back in my own body, the flame on the candle out and my families shocked faces in front of me.
