Chapter 7

No-one's POV:

It was the night after the big revelation and the original family were waiting for their guests to join them. The family were becoming impatient but that soon went away when they heard the door knock. Entering the house was Stefan and Damon Salvatore, Elena and Jeremy Gilbert, bonnie bennet with Kai Parker in front of her in shackles, Enzo St. John, Caroline Forbes, Matt Donovan and...

"Alaric," Hope said happily, beaming at her mentor. He returned the smile before Damon decided to speak, an arm draped around Elena.

"Klaus, I'd love to say that I'm truly happy to be called to your mansion in New Orleans but then I would be lying so how about we cut the crap and you tell us why the hell we're here," he snarled, receiving a warning glare from Stefan, Elena strangely not reacting who was too busy looking at klaus and Elijah.

"Well no one really wanted to invite you," kol muttered under his breath, though aware that the entire room could hear him.

"Wait didn't we kill you,"Jeremy said, looking towards the original in confusion, knowing for sure that him and Elena had stabbed him with a white oak stake.

"I got resurrected, no thanks to you," kol replied, his smile filled with a dangerous gleam.

"Wait what," Davina said outraged and before anyone could react she shot out her hand and Jeremy dropped to the ground, blood coming out of his nose. Cries of protest and outrage filled the room, though they fell on deaf ears.

"Klaus please,"Caroline said, looking worriedly towards her friends brother. Klaus merely shrugged indifferently from Hayley's side though he glanced towards hope to make sure she was alright with the display of violence. Hope merely shrugged, more annoyed at the delay then anything.

"Kol," Elijah said with a condescending tone. Kol sighed before he looked towards Davina and threw his arm over her shoulders.

"That's enough darling, we can continue this later I promise," he said reassuringly, beaming proudly at his wife. That seemed to do the trick as she finally stopped the spell before hissing out a warning.

"Try something like that again and I swear next time I won't stop," she said vehemently before relaxing as she felt kol kiss her temple, glad to know he was alive and well next to her.

"That was hot," Kai whistled completely ignoring the Mikaelson's glares and the scooby gang's incredulous looks. Davina looked like she wasn't sure whether to throw up or motus the siphoner through the window, while kol merely tightened his grip on Davina and resisted the urge to rip kai's heart out.

"Please excuse Davina's action, we have not asked you here to fight but to merely show you something," Elijah said after a moment of silence, gesturing towards Freya, Davina and hope. Quickly showing the newcomers the vision from yesterday, the originals watched as they processed the information.

"It, we have children," Stefan said to Caroline looking at her with a complicated expression. Before she could respond the door opened, and another brunette entered, her face with a permanent scowl on it.

"Katherine?" Caroline said with surprise looking at the doppelgänger. Klaus looked towards the vampire and couldn't help but feel something was off.

"What no, I'm Elena, katherine snapped my neck and took my place," the newcomer glared at the girl tucked in Damon's side. At that the girl removed herself from damon and shrugged.

"Guess the jig is up," she said smirking towards everyone. The original family barely showed a hint of surprise, while the mystic fall gang felt waves of annoyance and shame flood them due to not realising Katherine was with them all along.

"You know, your the reason I'm drunk 80% of the time," damon groaned before slinging his arm around the real Elena's waist and explaining what had happened. To say she was shocked would be an understatement.

"It can't be, vampire's can't have kids," Elena said, disbelief evident on her face. Hayley rolled her eyes at that, remembering klaus's words from when he had found out she was pregnant.

"Yet Hope Mikaelson is standing in front of us," Rebekah said with a haughty sniff towards Elena, annoyed that they were even entertaining this conversation with the backstabbing doppelgänger.

"Please let us not fight, we came to seek new memories and for that more power is needed, miss bennet please may you assist in the spell," Elijah said looking towards bonnie, and avoiding any eye contact with Katherine who was standing next to the bennet beauty.

"Wait, what about me," said Kai, looking completely offended. At that everyone looked at him with looks varying from 'why would we let you do magic, do we look like we're stupid' to 'is this guy seriously asking that' which Kai merely responded with an eye roll stating that no-one understood his brilliance.

"Anyway," hope said, regaining the rooms attention, "let's get this started," she said reaching out a hand to bonnie for her to hold.

As bonnie took her hand, Marcel placed 3 candles in front of the girls, each to represent one memory they would be able to see.

The candles burned in front of the four as they chanted the spell, the residents of the room being sucked into a new memory.
