Caroline's POV:
Caroline was finally content with her life. After the whole mess in her youth from vampires, crazy ex's and boy trouble she never thought she would ever catch a break. However it finally seemed that life was going her way. She had married the love of her life, had two beautiful children that, although genetically were not hers, were still her whole world and now had found out that she had another set of twins that were hers, all in all four children.
Of course there were still some bumps in the road. For starters it seemed that her biological children didn't have any idea who their real parents were, her surrogate children seemed on edge about the whole thing and not to mention it was quite, scratch that, very awkward to live under the same roof as Hayley Marshall, Klaus Mikaelson and Rebekah Mikaelson.
Hayley, because the last time they had talked she had accused her of sleeping with her ex boyfriend Tyler, Klaus, because the last time she had seen him she had slept with him even when he was going to have a child, albeit she had not know this fact at the time and it was a product of a one night stand but it was still weird now considering that she was married and Rebekah, well because Rebekah just plain hated her, though less than she had the doppelgängers which wasn't that reassuring to be honest.
These thoughts were running through her mind as she watched a movie with her daughter sitting next to her. Her and Lizzie were both watching the notebook, Josie having declined in favour of hanging out with everyone else in the living room as no one had wanted to watch as Damon put it 'that garbage at 8 in the morning'. A knock from the front door had shaken her from her thoughts and instantly caused her to vampire speed over already annoyed at the intrusion.
Caroline opened the door to reveal a teenage girl standing on her porch, an apologetic smile on her face.
"Hello, can I help you?" Caroline said, wondering who she was.
"Hi umm does a Hope Mikaelson live here?" the girl said, instantly putting Caroline on edge.
"Who wants to know?" the blonde said, as the girl opposite raised her eyebrow in surprise.
"I met her Yesterday, I'm Faith and she said that she wanted someone to show her around town,"the girl explained, while Caroline had finally seemed to get it. The girl in front of her was the long lost daughter of Hayley and Klaus.
"Umm why don't you come in," Caroline smiled, her demeanour doing a 180. It seemed that Faith had picked up on it to as her expression quickly changed to one that Caroline could only place as being weirded out. It reminded her of Hayley. Caroline led her past the TV room where Lizzie was still sitting. The siphoner turned to her mother in confusion, silently asking who the girl was.
Faith Caroline mouthed back as Lizzie's eyes widened. The two then left, walking into the living room where everyone else was seated. The noise level was loud with conversations buzzing throughout the room. The mystic falls gang where all conversing with each other, kol and Davina were making out in a corner, Katherine was on the phone with what seemed to be a witch while Elijah and Kai were talking, well more as in Kai was getting on Elijah's nerves, Freya and Marcel were talking quietly. Hope and Josie were laughing in their own world and Klaus and Rebekah were telling Hayley the best time eras in their opinion. Klaus stating that he preferred the 20s while Rebekah preferred the time they had first come to New Orleans.
Elijah, who had first noticed when the two had walked in, quickly shared a greeting seeming eager to remove himself from Kai's conversation.
"Caroline who is this," the noble brother said, polite as always.
"Elijah, meet Faith Rebekah Thompson,"
Utter silence.
Hope suddenly jumped up from her conversation with Josie and walked towards Faith who once again seemed weirded out by the silence.
"Hey I didn't think you're come this early," Hope said, smiling at her sister.
"I'm sorry for that but I'm not free later on," Faith apologised instantly causing Hope to shake her head adamantly.
"No it's alright, I'm ready now anyways," Hope beamed, leading the girl away from the room.
