Going back to Ma's has never been this upsetting. What is she going to say about Marri? Will I still get to visit him in jail? What did he even do? "Laurin I need you to stay, I have some important news of my own and I need you to be here for it," Ma begs of her. Laurin lets out an audible sign and slouches down into the couch. "As you all know Marri has been sent to jail." Laurin rolls her eyes as Ma lowers her head in sorrow. "That's not the only news. I am also pregnant." Laurin had never jumped to her feet so fast. She grabbed her phone and keys storming out of the house. Slamming the door so hard the picture of Ma and Marri's wedding above the door frame shattered. Laurin yelled and screamed but all I could do was cry. I loved our family the way it was, another sibling meant more family complications and maybe another schedule change.
