"Ashton?" My voice trembled. It cant be, this is impossible I slumped down to the ground covering the tears that had leaked unintentionally from my eyes.
"Hey, quite your crying and get me some water?"
I looked at him and laughed.
"Please?"
"You must have hit your head hard. Maybe we should knock you out more often"
"Dont push it," he smiled
"Thanks"
"Ill call everyone. They just left the house but your mums still there."
He allowed me to do so.
Instead I just send a message on whatsapp.
"Are you still with Jason?" The question made me puke in my mouth and made my head spin uncontrollably.
"Um yeah." I took a dramatic pause"but I think he's going to dump me soon"
"Why do you say that?"
"Ashton. Do you know how long you've been knocked out?"
"About two da-"
"More than a month"
"What?"
"During that time I kept on thinking it was my fault and so did Jason"
"I dont think he wants me to struggle with the thought that I was involved so it looks like, to me, we're going to break up"
"Oh?" There was no emotion in his tone
"Yeah" I whispered.
"ASHTON! MY BABY!"
"Mum, im okay you can losen your grip"
"Baby I cant believe it's you"
She continued to kiss his cheeks
" I nearly had a heart attack when I thought you had-" she began to wail "I thought you were dead?!"
"You can't get rid of me that easily mum"
"Where's Chris?"
"He will be here soon along with all your school besties"
"Mum. I dont think anyone my aga says besties."
"Ok. Your school chaps"
"Good God"
"Well im going to step outside and grab something to eat. What me to get you two some thing?"
"Mc Donalds for me" Ashton said
"Same here" I replied.
I heard her heels tapp against the marble floor until I heard them no more.
It was awkward knowing that it was partly my fault that Ashton was here. Tears began to fall like raindrops
"Alex, it's okay"
I ran up to Ashton and hugged him with force.
"No it's not this is all my fault," my tears were now in control "gosh im so stupid, I should have listen to you. I didn't think about anything"
"Its not all your fault"
I released him
"Maybe a little" he gestured with two fingers "but not all your fault" my heart stopped in my throat. I couldnt do anything but laugh.
"What would you do,"
Ashton began,
"If I kissed you?" I didn't reply, I mean what would I say? Yes and betray Jason, we haven't broken up yet. Or say no, to someone who I nearly killed.
Before I knew it Ashtons hand were already caressing my face. Unintentionally I began to move my head towards his. His lips grazed mine before I felt that he was sure he wanted to kiss me. Without a thought I did the same. His lips pressed against mine and I melted in his arms. I pressed my hands against his chest to get him off but he just pulled me in tighter pulling me in closer so it felt like we were morphing into one person. and he wasn't going to let me go. I finally released all my tension and allowed Ashton to take over. Soon the forceful heated kiss turned into one of great passion as I felt Ashton felt me relax in his arms. I found myself falling deeper into him. A rush of heat came over me making me more than dizzy. I pulled back in shock but he crashed into me with more force than I could of imagined suddenly I didn't feel like I was in control my brain and heart had turned into mush. I began rummaging my hand though his soft hair whist he stroked my back.
"ALEX?"
I broke away from the kiss to the sound of Jason's voice.
Hold on.
Jason?
