"y/n! We can't be late!" Steve shouts up the stairs, waiting impatiently at the bottom of them.
"Shut up! Nothing looks good!" I shout back, throwing a t-shirt at the wall.
"I'll meet you in the car!" I hear the door shut and start to stress. Peter knocks at the door lightly.
"What's wrong, babe?" He asks sympathetically. I pout and look at him with sad eyes.
"I can't find anything to wear!" I whine at him. He nods and walks over to my closet, looking through it. He pulls out an oversized, purple t-shirt and some black jeans with my Doctor Martins.
"This ok?" He asks, holding up the outfit.
"Yes! You are a lifesaver. I love you." I kiss his cheeks and get dressed and throw my hair up into a high ponytail. I run down the stairs, grabbing my purse and running out the door to meet my dad in the car.

"Is it ok to be nervous?" I ask, sitting in the doctors office.
"Of course it is, darling." Steve answers, rubbing my shoulder. "It's completely normal."
I look over to Peter and he's sitting there, his foot tapping repeatedly against the marble floor. I move my arm over to his thigh so he calms down. He looks up at me and smiles, which I return.
"You ok?" I say quietly.
"Yeah...just nervous. I don't want there to be anything wrong with our little nugget." He says, moving his hands over to my stomach.
"What have I said about calling our baby a nugget?"
"To do it?"
"To not do it. You could call it anything and you call it a nugget?" Peter thinks for a little bit.
"How about our little spider?" He says, innocence burning through his eyes. I smile and nod my head, agreeing with the nickname.
"y/n Rogers? You're here for an ultrasound?" The nurse asks.
"Yes. Dr Carter?" I ask.
"I'm not her but if you'll follow me." She starts to walk and me, Peter and Steve follow behind. We walk into the pink room and see a blond lady sitting at her desk, typing away.

"y/n! Wonderful to see you. I'm Dr Carter and I'll be your main doctor during your pregnancy." She greets with a wide smile.
"Nice to meet you. This is Peter, the father and Steve, my father." I say, shaking her hand.
"Thanks for doing this, Sharon." Steve says out of the blue, making me confused.
"You two know each other?" Peter asks, cutting in.
"We used to live in the same building a few years back." Sharon explains. "Would you like to get started?" I nod my head and sit on the bed. Peter and Steve stand on either side of me, Peter holding my hand. Sharon sets everything up and starts to rub the cold jelly on my stomach.
"Oooo that's really cold." I say, laughing a little bit.
"Every mother says that. You do get used to it though, I promise you." She says comfortingly.
She starts to move the stick around on my stomach, looking at the camera. She moves the screen closer to me and points to a small looking bean on the screen.
"And this is your baby." She says in a quiet voice. I move closer to the screen and stare into the little black screen and tear up a little.
"Should we go outside for a minute?" Steve says to Sharon, she nods and they both leave.
"Baby? Why are you crying?" Peter asks, holding both of my shoulders. I sniffle and move closer to Peter.
"I can't see it!" I sob. Peter moves the screen closer.
"Look y/n." He points to the screen where the little white bean is. "There...that's our baby. That's our little spider." I inspect the screen and squint my eyes a little.
"You still can't see it?" Peter asks.
"No!" I lay back down, leaning my hands on my forehead. Peter pulls me back up and makes me look closer.
"Look...right here. The little bean looking thing."
"Oh yeah...oh my god!" I exclaim, grabbing Peter's hands and squeezing them slightly.

"Everything ok in here?" Sharon pops her head through the door, checking in.
"Yeah." I sniffle. She walks back in and wipes the jelly off of my stomach and prints off the sonogram picture.
"This is staying in my wallet forever..." Peter says, kissing my head.
"Come on, I wanna go home. I'm hungry." I say, getting off the bed and walking away, sassily. I hear Steve and Peter laughing at me so I turn around and death stare them. They immediately start walking, not without thanking Sharon.
"Thanks for everything, Sharon! See you soon!" I shout back.
"No problem, sweetie." She replies, waving and smiling. We all pile into the car, stopping at the ice cream parlour and getting everyone ice cream before driving home.
"I come baring ice cream for everyone!" I shout while walking into the house. Nat and Wanda run up to me not even a minute later which made me giggle.
"Ice cream?" Nat asks in a begging tone. I nod and hand them both a pot of ice cream.
"How was the appointment?" Wanda asks as we sit on the sofa.
"It was great. I got a little picture as well!" I squeal as I take the picture out of my phone case and showed it to them.
"Where is it?" Nat asks, squinting her eyes a little.
"Ummmm...Peter!" The girls laugh a little while I wait for Peter.
"What's wrong, baby?" He asks, walking into the room.
"I can't find the baby again..." I whimper as I hand him the picture.
"It's ok.." He says, rubbing my shoulder. He points out the baby to Nat and Wanda and I just stare at him in adoration.
