Kennedy Pov

Today was my day off and it was ruined when Kingston called me to get ready.

I took me a long shower to get on his nerves, then I put on something cute but basic... I brushed my teeth and then washed my face.

Once I got downstairs he was knocking on the door. "Hey". I said.

"Hey Ken". He said..

He was taking me to get food first and I sent Carter a simple "hey" text because we haven't talked in almost a week

He took me to Waffle House.  "I think I want chicken and waffles". I said to myself.

After we ordered, I noticed the change in his behavior

"Why are you doing this"? I asked him. "Because I'm working on me. and the first step is getting me and my sister on the right path".

"Right". I said sipping my orange juice.

"Are you changing fr? Because don't get my hopes up into me thinking I'm getting my brother back". I told him.

After we ate we went shopping.

"oouuu I like this". I told Kingtston as I laughed at his annoyed face..

"Just getting you ready for when you have to spoil my bestie". I said eyeing him.

"Right". He said lowly.

"Ooouuuu do you like these shoes"? I asked him.

"Yeah get whatever Ken". He said.

After spending about a cool 500 on  everything I bought. We were heading back to my house.

I checked my phone and hadn't gotten a text or call or anything from Carter.

I just brushed it off, I got in the shower and called Chloe.

"Hey bestie what are you doing"? She asked me. "Nothing much, I was about to come see you". I told her.

"Oh I'm at my parents but I can stop by". She said.

"That's cool". I told her

I decided to go check on Nova as I waited on Chloe.

"Aww hey how are you feeling"? I asked Nova..

"Girl I'm fine now, their letting me go tomorrow but I can't work for two weeks". She said.

"who doesn't like missing work? what are you sad for"?? I asked laughing..

"Ima miss my guh". She said referring to me..

"Girl, I'll come see you everyday if I have too"! I told her.

We laughed and talked some more. Nova was a great person, a great vibe. I loved our friendship.

"Thanks for stopping by Kennedy it means a lot". She said.

"No problem girl". I told her as I was getting ready to head home.

I laid down on the couch and it was around 4, Chloe hasn't came so I decided to take a nap..

I mean she has a key anyways and plus I just wasn't in my best mood.

Chloe Pov.

I was off today, and I took the day to go see my parents.

I haven't responded to Kingston's message because I wanted to hear what my parents thought.

"Hey mama, hey daddy". I said hugging them. "Hey Princess" my dad said

"How's the shop". ? My mama asked. "I'm good, I'm in love mama". I said smiling.
