Everything had settled down, my father was okay, I mean he was stable so.
I wasn't affected by it as much, but hearing the different stories about him really got in my head.
He didn't not want me, he just couldn't see me and be a father due to protecting me. and that's fine, but I'm grown now and I'm too old for him to want to come back, so if you ask me it's really a dead deal.
I had my feelings, but what really could I do? He brought himself into this situation. HE KNEW.
I did want him to be okay because I still have a heart, so the only way we could ever talk was through my aunt. So I'd just have her update me abaout everything.
We were still in Cali, and today was our last official day so I was gone make the best of it.
I've been putting my feelings aside to enjoy my time here.
So I got up, showered and headed down to the kitchen.
"Hey baby we cooked". Kennedy said. She has been real supportive since we've been here and my cousins and aunt really loved her.
"You okay"? She asked smiling as sad as I was her smile really brightened my day up.
"yeah, I'm fine. just can't wait to lay in our bed". I said kissing her face as she chuckled.
"I gotta go to the office and handle some things. I'll be back later on". She said as we nodded.
"Don't get in no trouble". She added pointing.
We ate breakfast and talked. "So Kennedy what do you do? Ana asked.
"oh well I'm a firefighter". She said as she ate.
"That's real nice". Adriana said. "Kelan told us you helped him in his car accidents". Gabi added.
"uh yeah i did. I wasn't suppose to but I did". She said looking at me smiling.
"You two get dressed, we're going on a walk". Adriana said as we got up.
This was another thing I liked about my cousins, they were always there for me, I'm the big cousin but they always made me feel like the little cousin because of the way they had my back.
"Leave it like that". I told Ken as I saw the frustration in her face as I stood beside her with my head planted in her neck as she smiled.

I saw Kennedy post on her story as I did the same thing, giving off the same energy.
