Josie POV

He knows? My dad barely knows shit and the one thing I actually want to know.... He knows. I don't know whether to be happy or concerned.

"Wait? You know why?" I asked
"Yeah. It's because of what you and Hope have going on. Which I usually don't condone but that means you taking after your old man. I was a player back then in my time. I had all the girls. I guess my legacy pasted on to you" he says

"Dad. First, That's gross. Second me and Hope are strictly friends, why does everyone think we have something going on? And I'm not a cheater" I say

"Maybe stop looking at Hope with puppy heart eyes, and look at her more as a friend. Then no one will think you like her. But at that breakfast table you looked head over heals for someone that isn't your girl. And I mean that In the most fatherly way" he says

"Dad, maybe girl talk isn't for everybody. But I loved that you tried to help, but I think I should just go talk with mom or something" I say

"Your mom should be in my office. I'm going into town for a few" he says

"Another date with sheriff Mac?" I asked

"What?" He says

"Oh dad. Don't think I don't know" I say

"Just go with your mom" he says with a smile which caused me to chuckle.

Lizzie POV

I knocked on hopes door.

"Who is it?" She asked
"The baddest bitch in town" I say

She then opened the door and pushed me inside before closing the door.

"Well it's great to see you to" I say
"I talked with your mom about my feelings" she says
"That's great I guess" I say

"I think I'm on the verge of shitting tears" she says
"Please don't do it why I'm here" I say
"Lizzie I'm serious" she says

I then sat on her bed and patted a spot for her to sit on. She got what I was saying and she sat down.

"So tell me. What did you tell my mom that you couldn't tell me?" I asked

"I admitted my feelings towards Josie" she says

"You what?" I said before jumping up

"Oh this is great! I'm planning your June wedding" I added

"No. That's the problem. I shouldn't have feelings for her and I don't want to have feelings for her. That will only cause me heart breaks and I don't want that" she says

"What makes you think Josie is going to turn you down?" I asked

"Well, first off she's with finch second she already made it strictly clear she only wanted to help a friend out and she doesn't have feelings for me" she says

"You guys are more blind then I thought. How do you feel about my sister?" I asked

"What?" She asked

"You heard me motherfucker. How much feelings for my sister do you have in that short body of yours" I say

She rolled her eyes at me.

"A tiny bit" she says

"What if we got you someone to get over Josie?" I asked

"I just got out of a relationship. I don't think dating should be on my mind right now" she says
