Twenty-one

Hope POV

I woke up and my head was hurting really bad. I jumped up and ran to the bathroom. My magic had came back out of no where so did a spell to get me that medicine my aunt use to always make for me.

After taking some I felt a little better. I don't think regular vampires can use medicine and feel all better but I guess it worked.

I looked over at my bed and there was a pretty naked brunette laying in it.

I smiled.

I'm happy I didn't wake her up.

I looked down to realize I was still naked too. I walked over to my closet to grab a hoodie and some pants.

When I turned around Josie was gone.

"Josie?" I called out.

No answer.

I just decided to go check her room. Maybe my mind is playing tricks on me.

I knocked on her door no answer. I didn't want to just go right in but the door just opened.

As I walked in, I seen the worst thing that i don't want to ever happen to me.

Josie and Lizzie was dead. I used my vampire hearing to see if I can hear their heart beats. But nothing.

Did I ?

No.

How can I kill them if I was sleeping? How are they even dead? I literally was just in bed with Josie..

This makes no sense.

"You did this!" Josie says out of no where.

"How- you're suppose to be dead!" I say

"I am dead. I will forever haunt you for killing me." She says

"But- but I didn't do it" I told her

"Yes you did! You killed me and my sister. I know you didn't try to, but you did. You will pay." She says

"How- I- I would never let anything happen to you. I love you for godsake" I cried out

I jumped up out of my sleep. My body was all sweaty and I was half naked.

"Hope? Are you okay?" Josie asked as she ran out of the bathroom

"I killed you? I'm so sorry" I say as I jumped up to hug her.

"Awww baby, you had a nightmare. Look at me" she says before lifting my chin up. I avoided eye contact for a while.

"I'm still here" she says I looked at her and a soft smile played upon her lips.

"Maybe that dream was right." I say

"If it's a nightmare then it's far from right" she says

"I killed you and Lizzie" I say

She looked at me as if I was crazy.

"You're scared of me aren't you?" I asked before backing away.

"No, hope. I'm not scared of you." She says as she taken a step closer to me

"Promise me if you fear me. You pull yourself away from me" I say

"I will never fear you" she says

"Okay" I say before giving her a hug

Josie POV during hope's nightmare

I woke up to hope moving around in her sleep. She must be having a nightmare.
