Hope POV

Caroline had already set things up so it was easy to access.

"So where's Ethan?" I asked
"He's with maya and his mom for the holiday break" Lizzie says
"What about stefanie?" I asked

"You two are actually getting serious?" Josie asked
"We aren't even dating, I just wanted to know where she was and make sure she was okay. We haven't talked in 3 weeks" I say
"Mhmm" Josie says

"I haven't talked to her either, I just thought maybe you guys were just friends and that's it" Lizzie says
"We are just friends" I say
"Who I caught kissing?" Lizzie asked

"You guys what?" Josie asked
"YOU GUYS WHAT?" Caroline asked
"We kissed, but then I pulled away and she asked what was wrong and then I said nothing and kissed her back. I felt bad for kissing her" I say
"Why?" Josie asked
"Because I was imagining it was someone else and I don't think that's right" I say

"Maybe you shouldn't lead her on" Josie says
"You're the one to talk" Lizzie says
"When have I ever led someone on?" Josie asked

Everyone got silent.

I walked over to put the Ornaments on the tree.

It was half way down.

"Why everyone go quiet?" Josie asked

Lizzie looked at me and so did Caroline.

"Do we plan on having cookies for Santa? Pedro is not here so I don't think we need to keep acting like Santa's real" I say

"Why are you changing the subject?" Josie asked

"Can we just drop it bunny?" I asked

She looked at me and could see I was on the verge of just screaming.

She nodded.

It was silent for a while.

"So Hope , I have a lot to tell you" Lizzie says
"I hope it's not about you and anyone of your okay things going it in my bed" I say

Caroline and dr.saltzman looked at me.

"No of course not" Lizzie says

They turned back to what they were doing.

"So what is it?" I asked
"Well, maybe we should talk about it in a more private place"Lizzie says

Josie looked at both of us.

"Okay, what the hell is going on between you two?" Josie asked

"Nothing, besides her be STRICTLY my best friend and soon to be family by marriage" Lizzie says

"What?" Josie asked

"You got to stop saying stuff like that" I say

"Okay, how about ric, you Lizzie and I go make some hot chocolate and Hope and Josie you guys can continue to decorate the tree" Caroline says

I knew what she was doing.

"Okay" Josie says

They all had left and Josie was silent for a while.

She tried to stay steady on the latter to put up the star.

"Need help?" I asked
"Yeah" she says

I went to hold the latter.

"It looks beautiful" I say

I wasn't talking about the star.

"You think so?" Josie asked
