"Fyn!" I turned my head to see who called my name. Before you all start wondering why my name is a boys name I can tell you it's because my mum didn't think of the repercussions of calling her daughter Fynnea.
Ben walked over and kissed my head softly. I smiled and laced my fingers with his.
"How was your weekend?" He said over the noise of hundreds of loud students walking to break.
"It was okay, I guess. So how was yours?"
"Let me put it this way, put a teenager in the middle of nowhere with no wifi and you have someone so grumpy they can't face the 'sun' which by the way, was behind miles of heavy fog all weekend." He laughed the at the end bit.
"Sounds fun." I laughed lightly.
We reached the canteen. Oh how I hate it. A room full of teenagers throwing food and shouting. Yeah not my idea of fun.
We walked to the table our group sits at and said quick hellos. I hate having to talk to people for too long so I got my phone. A few moments later I felt a tap on my shoulder.
"I need to sort some things out." Ben said looking around never meeting my gaze. As much as I wanted to ask a million questions, I nodded to confirm he could go.
"Where did Ben go?" Connor nudged me lightly whilst eating his crisps.
"Why should I know?" I said.
"Because you're his girlfriend?"
He said it like a question. Before I could question it any further the canteen got a bit quieter and I instantly knew who had arrived. I heard a chair get pulled from our table and James perch himself on it. He gave us all one of this nods boys do to each other.
"That teacher is a dickhead." He mumbled whilst texting someone on his phone.
"Why?" Tris said over the table.
"Just is." he shrugged cockily. I looked up to the clock again and had enough time to try and find Ben. I got up and threw my bag over my shoulder.
"Where you going?" He asked.
James never really talked to anyone during school so everyone in the room looked in our direction.
"No where." I said and walked out.
I was walking through the halls when I saw two people snogging. I grimaced but stopped when I saw the bag the boy was wearing.
Oh my god.
It was Ben.
My stomach clenched and my heart starting beating in my throat."You've got to be kidding me!" I yelled straight at his face. Wait it would of been his face if that slag hadn't of been sucking if off.
"You know, after these two years you would have put your trust in me!" He yelled back.
"Trust? Why don't you take that trust and shove it up your arse?"
I turned to face the voice to see someone I would least expect to care.
"James leave it." Ben rolled his eyes.
James strolled up to him and put his face inches within his.
"Tell me to 'leave it' again and your mouth will be so far into your skull." the vein in his neck looked like it was going to burst and Ben hadn't even flinched.
People started crowding round getting ready to see a fight.
"Leave. It." Ben said through clenched teeth.
That's when it all went wrong.
