Rome

I walked in the house carrying all the bags that Magnus got me. I was thankful that he didn't leave any marks on me. But he did in other ways.

I couldn't wait to see him again.

I walked in my room sitting my bags down and a moment later my husband came in "Rome"

"Yeah?"

"Where were you?"

"Romeos. I needed a break Julian"

His arms wrapped around me "I'm done this time. Seriously." He kissed my shoulder "I was stupid, an idiot, scum. I really don't deserve your forgiveness but I promise I'm will to work for it. I can't live with out you Rome"

"Julian-"

"One more chance, I fuck up again I'll sign the divorce papers"

I turned around looking at him truly shocked "You serious?"

"Yes"

I hugged him and he dug his face in my neck "I miss you"

"I miss you too" I hugged him tighter "I need to go check in with my dad and we can talk more"

I started to walk out but he grabbed my hand "There's a meeting tonight I have to attend on your fathers behalf. Come with me?"

"I have a job tonight"

"Your dad already sent someone for you"

"You told him about us?"

"I had to apologize to him first. For doing what I did to his daughter. I'm serious about this Rome"

I nodded my head "Okay I'll go" I smiled at him and he kissed me "I'll be back"

I knocked on my dads door then went in. It was about 5 men in there and he dismissed them.

"Shut the door" he said. I shut the door the walked over to my seat by his desk "I know you know how I hate when you lie to me Rome" he gave me a disapproving look "But I trust you did it within good reasons?"

I nodded my head and showed him the phone that Magnus gave me "He's planning to take you down from the inside. He has 42 other accounts like this but the only one I have access to is the one with Gabriel. He's been using Lunas name to do his dirty work"

He scrolled down the phone and nodded his head "Good, I was stuck trying to figure out who was working with him"

"You knew?"

"I know everything Rome, like how you signed the contract"

"Yeah" I said awkwardly looking away then back at him "I'm going to make him trust me. So we can figure out who he's all working with. The last thing we need is to kill him and he's only the tip of the iceberg. Then we're left with no answers"

"Exactly. Did he tell you about the meeting tonight?" I nodded my head "good you're going with him. Get me something we all can use Rome"

Magnus

"What do you mean? Why can't you just go Oskar. We're supposed to be gone!" I yelled

"The Mexicans are saying they'll pull the deal if you don't show. Reputation Magnus. You haven't been out officially in months. Plus I'm sure your goddess will be there"

I tapped my chin "You're right. Get me a suit, we leave in a hour"

I walked in seeing mafia men and their wife's dressed to perfection. These things where to only flash our money around. See whose the poorest so we can take him out.

Mafia was more business then how I liked it. Yes I do run a business but what's the use of power and money if you can't use it the way you want?

"There she is" my brother said in my ear nodding his head over to my goddess.

She was in a beautiful dress that made my dick hard just looking at her. Her locs was pulled up in a neat bun with gold jewelry in it.

Julians hand was resting above her ass and he was whispering in her ear making her laugh. I wanted to shoot each of his fingers off for touching her and stuff them in his mouth.

She turned around grabbing another glass of wine and her eyes locked with mine. She smiled at me then licked her lips then turned back to her husband.

"I'm going to go say hello"

"Brother-"

"I'll be quick"

I walked over and seen them standing with Gabriel and some random woman "Mr.Levin. I see you made it" Gabriel said smirking

"Only to tell you the deal is off" I looked at my goddess and her husband "Hello Rome, Julian"

"Hi Magnus" she said looking at me with those beautiful eyes.

I seen playfulness in her eyes and smiled. Julian cleared his throat that I wanted to slit open.

I dragged my eyes to him "I hope you came to a agreement with the contract for the extension" he said

He was subtlety giving Gabriel information. Nobody just blurted out information like that around people. We never told who are allies we're and who we did business with.

"I actually talked to Ricardo before coming here. I decided not to go through with the contract extension"

Oskar came over with a girl, I pulled her from him wrapping my arm around her shoulder. My goddess eyes visibly darkened but she kept her composure.

"Well I'm sorry we couldn't come to an agreement" Julian said

"Shame." Rome said tucking herself further into Julians arm.

"Here are the contracts for the refusal" Oskar handed one to Gabriel then Julian.

Julian handed it to Rome and she turned around bending over the table signing it, but not before Julian went over to her and kissed her neck whispering something to her. She stood up nodding her head the he kissed her.

Oskar whispered in my ear "Didn't you guys-"

"Yup, twice." I smiled "She's amazing with that mouth of hers" I said in his ear.

Gabriel handed my brother the contract and Rome handed her to mine. "Baby I'm going to head to the bathroom" she pecked his lips "I'll be back"

Before she could walk away I pulled my gun out shooting the girl next to me and the girl with Gabriel. Rome shifted back and forth lust sneaking in her eyes and I smiled at her. "I'll see you around"
