helen was on her way to the canteen, deciding what she was going to eat for later. "hmm...chicken rice? mee goreng? so many eh..." helen thought to herself as she scanned through the choices at a stall.
after deciding on laksa, she started counting he coins. she managed to count 64 20-cent coins, but before she was able to count her 50-cent coins, someone bumped into her from behind, causing her to drop all her 50-cent coins.
scoffing, she reached down to pick up her coins. just then, another hand reached out to help her with the coins.
she looked up to see another boy around her age (13). he had shaggy black hair and glistening brown eyes. he was wearing the male's school uniform, which suited him really well. oh god, he was hot
"don't worry, i'll help" he spoke in a low voice, sending shivers down helen's tailbone.
helen meekly nodded her head and gave an awkward smile. after he helped her with her coins, he introduced himself as ivan. even his name is so hot.
helen was still admiring the boy that stood before her, speechless. ivan waved his hand in front of helen which snapped her out of her thoughts. he offered to buy lunch for her, which helen agreed to.
