Chapter 16

It's hours alway from my big moment I'm going to be Mr. Davis. I will be marrying Ryder it's been years coming we are no longer waiting and hoping my father will change his mind. He made it very clear he wants no part of me and Ryders life. Alyssa and Simon are fully out of the picture now too. Alyssa tried a few times to get Ryan back but he kept telling her that he wasn't interested and that he was in love with me and Ryder and nothing would change.

At this point the only family I have is my sister and the little family we made with our friends. My sister is helping me get ready, we decided that we wanted a Viking styled wedding seeing as Ryder's parents are Norse pagan. Rose braided my hair in a long braid while Alexis helps me strap on my shoulder accessories.

"I'm so happy you never let father talk you into cutting your hair," Rose says.

I reply back with a shrug not really trying talk about this man while I get ready for the one thing he said he would never accept. I haven't seen Ryder since Friday it's been two days. Ryan has been out of town for the past two months trying to get a new office in Chicago, but the people he's trying to buy from are being assholes and acting like their shitty publish company is worth half the amount they keep telling him. I wanted to go with him and push back the wedding but he wouldn't let me.

"Do you think Ryan is going to make it to the wedding on time or do you guys plan in meeting up after the whole thing," Alexis asks.

"Yes he said that he's already here and that he's helping Ryder get ready since the only people he has over there is your husband and JJ" I laugh.

"Well at least he is here for both his men", my sister laughs.

Few minutes after I'm ready to get this show on the rode Ryan comes into the dressing room. He smirks and kisses my cheek.

"You look amazing pumpkin, I'm sure Ryder is going to love tearing this off you" he smirks.

He doesn't give me the time to say anything as he can tell what I'm thinking just by the flush of red on my cheeks from his words. I kinda wish he was coming to the honeymoon with us so he doesn't feel alone while we're gone for two weeks. He swears that it's okay that he isn't going to come with us but part of me knows that he isn't.

After he leaves the music for me to come out starts playing and I'm already feeling tears try to flee from my eyes. But I wipe them before any one can see them. Rose takes my hand as the grooms men and women start walking in front of us. She rubs the top of my hand with her thumb telling me that it's okay. I just smile down at here as we start walking down the aisle to my soon to be husband and forever best friend.
