It was once again, his birthday. He was now 18. He decided to make the snowmen again and repeated his "routine".
"Mommy! I want that too! Look!"
A little boy was pointing to one of the toys Yūma used as "friends". The mother tiredly followed her son towards Yūma. "I'm so sorry sir." She grumbled.
The boy picked up the big lion plushie. But Yūma quickly snatched it before grabbing all of his toys and shoving it in his bag.
"Please mister! I like lions!" The boy said before giving his lion impression.
Yūma shook his head but the mother continued to silently apologise.
"Th-this is mine... I got from my momma. But, she's not here" Yūma said to the boy.
"Where is your mother?" The woman asked.
"She's in heaven! But she said I get to see her soon! I haven't seen her since I was 6. But I am excited to see her and dadda soon!"
Yūma smiled brightly. But the woman just silently looked down. She pat his head and held her son's hand. She didn't know what to say.
Soon enough, they left. That was the first person to talk to him in years.
