Sidharth and Sana spent a lot of time together on their way to Alamgarh and got to know each other even better. He got to know that she was a person who couldn't stay at one place for too long when Sana had irritated him numerous times in the past two days. The problem was that there was nothing much to do in that boat and that made her really bored."Kaisi nadi hai ye? Machliya bhi nahi hai isme! Magarmach hoga andar?" she wondered. There were no fishes in there visibly otherwise she could have passed her time in fishing.
"Tujhe ye yaha se kaise pata lagega magarmach ka? Andar jake dekh!" he replied, suggesting her to jump into the water.
"Tu pagal hai?" she spat.
"Mai toh bas bol raha tha.." he shrugged, walking inside, grabbing himself an apple to munch on and closing her door behind her. That's what he did in the last two days, ate and slept.
"Sidhaaarth! Hum kab
pahuchenge?" she whined, settling next to him as she nuzzled into his shoulder."Dur hai na Alamgarh, tujhe pata toh hai. Thoda samay aur lag jayega." he replied, wrapping an arm around her.
"Legi?" He offered his apple to her.
"Un-hm.." she denied and just rested for a while. That amount of silence wasn't expected from her, she was definitely into some deep thinking.
"Kya soch rahi hai?" he nudged her, initiating a conversation.
"Kitna jaldi sab badal raha hai na? Maine kabhi socha nahi tha ke mai apne ghar ko chhod ke kisi ke sath itne dur jane ko tayyar ho jaungi." she said. "Mera kehne ka matlab hai ke, kabhi pehle akele bahar gayi nahi na. Khush hu ke mai tere sath hu, lekin thoda ajeeb sa bhi lag raha hai. Sidharth ek baat puchu?" she added, raising her head a little.
"Hmm.." he nodded, encouragingly.
Her thoughts had a reason, she had chosen the man she wanted to be without knowing his entire background. She trusted him so much that he wasn't going to hesitate to answer any of her questions now, even about his identity. But regarding his mission, he had thought he'd reveal each and everything by himself when the right time comes.
"Tera jo bhi kaam hai vaha, usme koi khatra hai kya? Kya mujhe darne ki zarurat hai? Kyuke jabse tune apne dost ki dusri chitthi padhi, tu pareshan rehta hai. Tujhe log dhund rahe hai har jagah!" she asked.
"Mai pareshan hu apne ghar valo ke liye, unki chinta hoti hai. Lekin tujhe darne ki koi zarurat nahi hai, maine koi galat kaam nahi kiya hai. Balki jo galat hua hai usko thik karne ja raha hu. Samjhi?" he answered, so confidently that it washed away every ifs and buts in her mind. He was happy knowing how she cared for him, got worried about him, noticed him, his moods and didn't bug him. Her biggest trait was that she understood him.
"Ha, samajh gayi. Acha, ek aur baat puchu?" she said, placing her chin on his chest.
"Hmm.." he nodded, knowing she was in a mood to talk now.
"Tere dost ke paas bahut paisa hai?" she questioned.
"Ha, kyu?" he asked back, amused.
"Itne khane-peene ka saman bheja usne tere liye! Itni badi naav bheji! Koi subedar hoga na vo?" She counted on the items sent by his friend and wondered, that guy must be owning a good job, high status or something.
"Subedar?" Sidharth laughed.
"Raja hai vo! Alamgarh ke Maharaj Bharat Singh ne ye sab kiya hai. Mere dost hai vo, hum gurukul se sath padhe hai." he informed her.
"Kyaa?!" she was baffled, utterly shocked.
"Kuch bhi? Maharaj aur tere bachpan ke dost?" she chuckled, no way she was gonna believe in his story.
