Jughead's narrator: It's been a quiet few days in Riverdale and the other places. Spring slid into summer, and some semblance of normal life resumed. The terrors of the gang members were forgotten, but they had started to fade. After some debate, it was decided that there would be an Independence Day parade down Main Street, Riverdale's first in three years. There would be no fireworks display over Sweetwater River.
Betty: *checking his story pages* It's a beautiful story, Jug.
Jughead: Really? Do you think it's worth submitting to the contest?
Betty: No, I think it's gonna win the contest.
Jughead: I love you.
Betty: I love you, too.
Jughead: *kisses her forehead and smiles*
Betty: *smiles back*
Veronica: Can we just stay in bed forever? And if not forever, at least of the day?
Archie: I would. But don't we have to finish building a float for your big 4th of July parade?
Veronica: It's not my parade. It's the town. Pop is only sponsoring it. Well...if not the day, how about another hour?
Archie: Hell yeah.
Archie and Veronica kissed and smiles at each other.
Bobby: I smell like a victory for Independence Day.
Vanessa: I smell it, too. Two days left, shall we?
Bobby: *smiles* Listen, I'm about to cook some breakfast. *gets off the bed*
Vanessa: How about we can go to Pop's. I got some change.
Bobby: Are you sure? Cause I'm better than a cook.
Vanessa: *sighs and laughs*
Bobby: What? You really sick. *gets back on the bed and starts kissing her*
Vanessa: *kissing him back*
Michelle: *leaves the house and gets on the bike and riding to Carter's house and knocks on the door*
Carter: *opened the door* Come in.
Michelle: Hey! *comes in and hugs him*
Carter: *hugs her back*
Michelle: I can see you cleaning up by yourself since now.
Carter: It's been clean from last night, Mich.
Michelle: What's the big deal? Until we grow, how about we can move together for an apartment.
Carter: I think...I would let you know when we headed back to the town after college. There is no mistaking, I still got you.
Michelle: Ok.
Zurich: *walks in the woods with Romeo* Why are we walking in the woods?
Romeo: I would show you really quick. *stops and shows them a shooting target and takes out the gun*
Zurich: Woah!
Romeo: Really? Woah? You are scared when I have a gun. Don't be scared. You don't have to waste any time.
Zurich: No doubt.
Romeo: Only good is your crew. Remember when the last time I was holding your back?
Zurich: The one we just did to those dealers?
Romeo: *nods* From now, you gotta learn how to shoot perfectly clear. *gives it to him* Standing straight.
